Hi I just bought Edirol R44. How do you record L&R chanel on 1 mic? I can only seem to record either L or R chanel with one external mic.

@gincrazy Which external mic are you using? I use external stereo mics and connect left chan to chan 1 to the recorder and right chan to chan 2.

@operafreddy For NCAA and Madden we used a Crown Sass-P, Rode NT-4, and a Holophone H3D 5.1 surround mic.

@gincrazy You should get a 2nd mic, or better yet a stereo mic. I don't recommend using a "Y cable".

@acadx We did record a game in the swamp. It was LSU against UF. Over 91,000 screaming fans! :-)
