Nice work. I like the concept. Keep it up! If you would be willing to give some of my videos a peek I’d love to hear some of your thoughts. Thanks again and keep at it!
GREAT video, You have a new subscriber now haha, my ONLY suggestion is at 4:35 the soldier sweeps his weapon across his buddy in order to look about, anyone with basic gun safety skills knows to lower the weapon and then bring it back up when your weapon is safely on the other side of a friendly. Im not trying to be a jackass (even though i sound like one) but, just something to watch out for in future videos =)
@Steampunk85 That's actually a very good point and I wish I had noticed this. When using real guns I do use this level of precaution. I guess I forgot when we were rushing to get all the scenes done in one day. Thanks for the comment and sub though, you're awesome!
@ButtOn326 I've considered a sequel although it would not be for a long time. In the meantime I have more short films on the way and hopefully I can keep people entertained with similar content
Chernobyl is both the name of the Oblast (state) and a small village. Pripyat is the abandoned city you refer to and show photos of in your video. It was the city that housed the workers at the plant and was closer to the plant itself.
dude with glasses and headlamp looks weird... and the other actor, one with ar-15, hes beard looks ridiculous, like some muslim or wtf... and weapons... well, considering this is ukraine, maybe you should use some AK insted of only western weapons... and lastly, recoil simulation looks bad either... don't take this criticism personally, rather try to avoid that stuff next time or pick better director :p I'm still giving thump up, gj and better luck with next potential project
LOVED THIS FILM! but may i ask what camera did you use? and the extra stuff like lenses? :) thx mate

Awesome. Simply awesome.
I can see the influence of Tarkovsky's film.
2:47 <- reference to the cobweb anomaly in Roadside Picnic?
The ejected shell casings, are they real or post-production effects?
oktal3700 3 months ago
@oktal3700 Thank you dude! Yeh the shell casings, smoke, muzzle flashes and sound is all digitally imposed :)

So pretty, but your actors suck and the combat scene needs to be redone. Calm combat scene is calm, needs more OH FUCK.

@nsfjojo
It was a really well done and pretty realistic combat scene, shutup sir, for not everything has to be a super hardcore action movie with explosions.
