  • "Worth investigating", eh, Bruce? Got it! ;)

  • You're all right. Eva was the one on Green Acres and this is Zsa Zsa. I always got those two mixed up. ;p

  • The criminals in this show were good for the most part Joker, Riddler, & King Tut But criminals like clocking, the puzzler (RIDDLER POZER) & the siren those were stupid. But egghead was cool because it was vicent price. LOL!

  • How did you become a rich television producer? "By never hiring "method" actors Minerva, and by always ignoring network executives." lol Of course, the humor in that is Adam West was the epitome of method actors in this show, and they had to ignore network executives to even have this show!

  • Actually the series dropped out of the top

40 by early 1968. Having Batgirl lack the

judo and karate skills she had in the comic books didn't help matters. The

    budget was also a factor.

  • These episodes were the last episodes for Batman, the show was cancelled March, 1968, not because of bad ratings but because the network (ABC) found it too expensive for production costs... the show probably could have gone on a few more years with villians like Scarecrow etc.

  • is that the same lady from green acres

  • her twin sister. I think they are twins anyway.

  • @FanOfBats Zsa Zsa is two years older than Eva, and Magda was two years older than Zsa Zsa. Zsa Zsa was also on an episode of Gilligan's Island for all you 60's trivia buffs as Erica Tiffany-Smith.

  • What do U think dipship motherfucking douche bag! *bitch slap*

  • @supergirl1272

This was Zsa Zsa Gabor. Green Acres was her sister Eva Gabor

  • @supergirl1272

This was Zsa Zsa Gabor, Green Acres was her sister Eva.

  • @supergirl1272 ZSA ZSA GABOR is the actress that plays minerva.. her sisiter Eva gabor was the one in green acres adn no they are nopt twins... zsa zsa is 2 years older than eva

  • This is so hallarious, where the heck do these villains get their gadgets! lol

  • is that ava or zsa zsa gabor

  • zsa zsa

  • Dozier's co-exec producer Howie Horowitz, smoking a cigar, is Rich Victim # 2 in the scene right after it.

  • Production spoiler: Rich victim # 1 in scene 2 happens to be William Dozier, executive producer of the Batman series, and the man behind the "Zap!" "Pow!" look and sound!

  • Is it me or most of female villians on the show have some sort of Russian acsent..

  • and this is how the show ended.

    ick.

    ah well.

again we have to remeamber at this time the ratings were falling

even by season two the ratings were down

the adition of batgirl did not help.

but the end of the show allowed the comic to take a much more serious turn.

    thankfuly.

  • They should have used other comic villians like Hugo Strange(seen in the intro) Twoface, Killer Croc(also in the Intro) and/or Scarecrow. Plus shown some origin episodes.

  • they could not use Twoface

it was felt he was to visibly distrubing for tv

and he was no where to be found in the comics of the late 50s and throughout the 60s

he did not resurfece until the mid 70s.

  • What aboat those other characters?

  • which characters are you talking about.

  • Croc, Scarecrow, Hugo Strange...

  • croc did not come about untile the 70s.

hugo strange made only 3 apperences in the late 30s and early 40s.

they semeed to pic mainly villens that were not to scarey and at the time were not as scary as they started out or later became

    take the joker for example

even before the show he had become a much lighter villen

then when he started out and what he became.

  • those characters more or less didnt have place til the late 70s mid 80s when comic books started to get gritty.

  • I don't think that was Killer Croc. He was created in the 1980s. That was just some random cartoony villain they added. Scarecrow and Two Face I guess they thought would be too scary.

  • I wonder is the reason why they didn't use Scarecrow (exept for the scary motive of the character) is the fact his face is cover by the mask all the time, sow It would be hard for the actor to play him all the time...

  • Freddy the French Fence

    Holy alliteration, Batman!

  • -Holy Howie Horowitz too! "Never listening to network executives..." I wonder if that helped the show get cancelled or if he already knew & was having a last dig?
