  • its amazing how many of the builders post these as 750 cc bikes. this one is a 1000 cc machine.

  • @LtJackboot no, this one is 749 :-)

  • Great bike,great sound!

  • beautiful machine:)

  • killer paint job! awesome!

  • If you replace the stock pipes or do this type of modification then you better check and possibly re-adjust the fuel-air mixture as well.

  • Have you noticed any change in the bike's performance? I'm thinking of removing the baffles on my '88 Virago 1100.

  • never mind scratch that..bought an r1 lol :) thanks though

  • i was really interested in doing this...have to rejet/adjust carbs?..any problems?..i have a 89' xv750 please help me out with some info!

  • @sk8ererpunk5000 no need to rejet or adjusting carbs!

  • anouther way to get a decent sound is to drill 1-4 inch holes in the back about three on each pipe it gets a lot deeper.dont drill on the sides of the pipes guys. i did this to mine and it sounds a lot better now ,an dont have to take out the baffles. just lets out a little more exaust so you wont hurt youre bike over time. hope this helps someone

  • how do you remove the baffles?

  • with drill and steel bar and hammer. steel bar at the end looks like a screwdriver ( or more like chisel)
