It is clear the rich and corporations have no concern for us or our nation. we need to nationalize all industry and put the people to work. All profit goes to the people first, then the state, and then the corporation.
We need to cut taxes on the rich because they create jobs. Some people think that a company will hire more employees when doing so will allow them to expand their business or will increase profits. This is not true. A business will hire more people when the owner has extra money laying around.
Fact: 47% of americans don't owe taxes so they receive a full refund check after they file.
Fact: Every year, the top 2% pay between 93-97% of all income tax the government receives and keeps. The remaining middle class who live comfortably cover the 3-7% of the rest of the money the government keeps.
Fact: The term "fair share" when dealing with taxes needs to be removed from the average american's vocabulary, since they pay nothing at all and complain about it.

I agree that 95% of new jobs are being outsourced, but not b/c of taxation rather it's cost of labour. If profit motive wasn't a factor (via higher tax rates) then re-investment in business would follow and labour might return to America. The taxation myth is a canard at best, an outright lie otherwise.
@Relbl : Taxation is a big part of labor costs. Providing health benefits, paying retirees, worker's compensation, not to mention that employers pay taxes on top of their employees payroll taxes. I do run a small business in Canada (my homeland) and do quite well ty. Nationalized healthcare is unconstitutional, its been debated time and time again. When I have to choose between the "US Constitution" or "saving buckets of money", I go with the constitution. Did you know that within the United States, a doctor is only allowed to give 1 of 3 cancer treatments. Chemotherapy, perscription medication, and surgery. There are treatments which are proven to work far better, which are used in other countries, but because they're not approved by the FDA, americans can't have them. That's federal infringement for you and it needs to end completely.

We cannot pick and choose (this or that) because all exceptions will reopen the no end in sight situation. We have to be true to the constitution without exception. I agree that 95% of new jobs are being outsourced, but not b/c of taxation rather it's cost of labour. If profit motive wasn't a factor (via higher tax rates) then re-investment in business would follow and labour might return to America. The taxation myth is a canard at best, an outright lie otherwise.

Did you know that within the United States, a doctor is only allowed to give 1 of 3 cancer treatments. Chemotherapy, perscription medication, and surgery. Now there is more money to be made elsewhere such as China. With a tax increase, how do u think they are gonna invest their money now? Certainly not in an high tax unstable nation like U.S!

How else could they win so many seats in the last election by campaigning to "cut spending" without offering any examples of what they plan to cut? Why do seniors vote for candidates who want to cut and eventually dismantle Social Security? Why would veterans vote for candidates who want to outsource the VA - remember KBS/Halliburton? Even Steve Forbes, who campaigned on the flat tax idea, admitted when pressed for answers that he absolutely wanted a flat tax - but would support deductions for home loan interest, dividends, etc., etc., etc. What a phony! That isn't a flat tax and, by the time it got past all the special interest groups to a vote, it would look just like the mess we have now. No one is willing to do it.

The reason the Bush tax cuts are referred to as the Bush "tax cuts for the rich" is not that they didn't apply to everyone, but that they overwhelmingly benefited the rich.

He needs to raise the bar these tax cuts. Just because you make 200,000 dollars a year does not mean you are rich. Small business owners will pay half of that if not more back by putting it back into their company and at the end of the day dont make much more then everybody else. it should be 400,000+ and your taxes will be higher. Rich can afford these taxes and the more money you make the more it should be taxed because the more youre left with in the end.
