I'm from argentina and I pretty much just add TONS of liquid sweetener to my mate.

It really depends of wether you can or not stand the bitter flavor.

@GrandStudable I am now actually drinking it with no sweeter, I love the taste. CBSE with mountain herbs and Taragui with no stems are my current favorites (this seems to change monthly though).
