  • Your counts are incorrect. I went over it three times just be sure. On the second row of dc, it comes out to be 42, not 40.

  • This vid worked on my iPad before, but now it says the author of the vid doest allow iPad playback :(

  • Please , let me know if this is for TODDLER OR BABY.

  • @kensrej slip stitch ... your just putting your hook through the beginning stitch ( that you started that round w/) pulling through your yarn directly into the ending stitch.. just type slip stich here in youtube and you'll prolly pull up a million video's

  • ขั้นตอนการถักชัดเจนดีมากค่ะ

  • that's so easy and nice.. thanks a lot.. :)

  • Thnx so Much this was very easy to follow,, I'd just like to note one thing this came out to be more of a toddler size and i wanted more of a newborn size so i just adjusted the chain to 10 instead of 15, this is my third pair, and instead of the way you did your top i just made it a little longer and sewed it up,, but the bottom was giving me so much trouble thanx for the upload it was so helpful!!! I posted a video response w/ my finished look.!!!

  • @UmmYussif can u please explain, how to make 0:34 just can't figure out how to make it.. i'm a beginner.. tanx dear

  • @ILYAMAISARA Hi ! she's turning, to turn she did four double crochets into the same last stitch.. after completing the fourth stich she continued to the other side by going into the next stich.. and she will continue to increase on both the ends of the sole so that it will begin to curl up..hope that helped if not let me know!!

  • @UmmYussif I'll try to make it 1st.. by the way, thanks dear :)

  • @tridevtridev, would love the written instructions, please email them at nancyrodriguez11276@gmail.com, thanks

  • OMG thank you for putting this pattern up! I am going to give it a try tonight.

  • these are easy baby booties but when i make their sole it was to small my hook size is 2.75mm and the yarn is also thin so plz help me

  • If people are wanting written info, you could just type the words as they go by. It was a good idea to tag your work as you went, typing the info above the work.Don't be sad w/comments U get, keep going! I see U posted U used a size 3 hook, that's good & important to know! You also need to tell yarn U used & it's "Gauge" is (=The amount of stitches you got in an inch, w/ "your" hook size) Need 2 know size yarn U used 2 - whether a DK (double knit) or baby yarn, to match yours & not be too big!

  • Your booties are very cute, & the video is enjoyable to watch & follow along.

I saw many women say their booties turned out very LARGE. I noticed you didn't say what weight of yarn you used, or what size hook. Those are very important facts for items to turn out the right size. I zoomed in on your hook & saw it was a Size "B" which is a very tiny hook, & the yarn used normally for that size is a DK (Double Knit) or finer baby yarn. Using those two items would decrease the lg size to small.

  • @tambo56

I noticed the hook is 3mm.

  • @tambo56 yes so true,, mine came out like a toddler size cuz i had to guess at what she was using

  • i love this pattern, WARNING! you have to be a little experienced to fully understand some steps. dont give up! if i can do it anyone can! The booties come out exactly like hers, my first mistake was using 4 ply red heart and a H hook. huge outcome and saggy too! use baby 100% cotton or even nylon for sturdy shoes. i used sugar n cream w/ a f hook and they came out fine. smaller fit for a toddler under 1 yr or so.

  • @hauntedfamilyinAZ oops, I used a d hook and the cotton yarn, its still 4 ply but its more solid and stretches well.

  • Hello, master of crochet, would please tel me how can I do a Mary Jane Boot for a 16 Months baby ?

    Thank You !

    Best Regards

    Zizi

  • I Love It.......Thank You for this.

  • can someone teach me how to do that 15x chain crap and all of the above lol

  • @iveadri1 the 15 ch part for her at least means to dbl c in the 1st ch, pay close attention, there's 15 chains to begin with. get it:) i was confused at first too , do 6 doubles there. then in 19th chain remember when you tie off and do your dbl c in the same ch. do your next ch's and count from there. to 19th ch.. then work 2 dbl crochets in the 19th ch. then 2 in 20th ch. then 2 in 21st ch. and 2 in 22nd ch. youre increasing is all. email me 4 more help.

  • @iveadri1 To learn how go to " How To Start Crochet: Lesson 1 with Mikey " this is a youtube video. He explains for a beginner . Hope this helps,

  • I wish that I could figure out how you are doing this. Even the video is too difficult for me. I would love to know how to crochet like this.

  • wow the best crochet instructions I ever found on YT! Thank you!! Ima make these for my little sweetheart right now!

  • muchas gracias por estos videos tan lindos. El problema es que no entiendo el idioma. podrian hacerlo en español?

  • Hi! I like the video, but I really dont get the part of the double crochet stitches... You get one pretty straight line,,, but when I try it, the single stitches are thighter then the double and it makes a round. Also I cant find a way to make them even.

How do you get them to be the same? You have a tip? I'm pregnant and I really want to make the shoes! They're so lovely! Btw, do you speak dutch?

  • Hey i simply love ur video.... i just have one question: at around 4:58 u say 2x half croche??? what is a half croche. how do you do that??? Thank you so much...

I love your baby booties! They are exquisite! Do you sell any written patterns for your baby booties that I could buy? I would love to make a pair for a friend of mine that is about to have a baby girl.

    Thank you,

    Marta

  • To all who are doing this crochet work, go to the second part and you will see the instructions are misleading. I have just wasted and hour on my time doing this, so all the people commenting in the second video of this "tutorial".

  • i've tried it like ten times but didn't work out. i get a big hole in the second row, first stitch and the number of stitches is always biger than in the pattern...i guess i'm not that good with crochet.

  • Hi ShyRainbow, you tutorial was great but it seems a bit big. If I were to make one for a preemie (new born baby) how can I make it smaller. I drew out the grid of your pattern and noticed that there's 10 DC that are the same in between so do I just decrease the chain and leave the rest the same or do I have to change the top and bottom too??? Please reply, baby girl is coming soon (earlier than expected). Thank you so so so much. *Huggies*

  • Absolute perfection! awesome! I just wish we could find the patterns in writing or tutorials...;)

  • I looovee this patternn!! I was wondering, what yarn are you using on these?? The one I got stretches too much and it looks like it's a giant baby's bootie (hehe..) I love how this yarn looks.. Thanks for posting!!!!

    Kind regards!

  • The booties are exceptionally beautiful as well as the music accompanying the directions. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing. My father's relatives came from the Netherlands back in the late 1800's. It is nice to share that with you! Thank you again for your delightful patterns!

  • Thank you for the tutorial, do you have written instructions for any of your other baby booties patterns for sale?

  • All your patterns are just amazing! I saw that you are using a 3mm hook. Could you please tell me what weight yarn you are using too. Is it baby weight? Again, if I follow your pattern and use 3mm hook what age baby will it fit?

    Thanks in advance,

    Naaz
