  • booooooo!!!!! reebok sucks rednecks rule

  • Which one should I get these or the 11k

  • @Rbksniper23 reebok 11k

  • Okay..

I am looking at these as a Chirstmas present for a friend.. I know nothing about Hockey gear so this may be the dumbest question ever but..these skates come with that pump.. i was at the store and it has 9k pump, 10k pump, etc. What is the difference between the pumps?

  • hi, i'm having trouble tying skates tight ever since my dad stopped tying them a few years ago i can never get them as tight as he did. This is my first high end skate i'm purchasing and i was wondering if the reebok line of lace lock and the pump feature will help me with tightening my skates, this is the main reason these skates attracted me, i'm planning on getting either the 7k or 9k, will these help me with tightening my skates?

  • @tmlrlz

get the graf waxed laces. they will help in addition to the lock.

  • @tmlrlz one tip that i just learned is that when u orignally lace the skates instead of going down by the tounge and coming out with the lace do it the oppsite way so you put the lace threw from the outside, when u pull each lace tight it holds better and will get tighter, i have some ccm vector 6.0s with hte lace lockes and i lace them that way until the lock and then do it the old way after the lock so its a lil looser above my ankle for some flex

  • i have 9k but they are white and look different. nhl logo on the back and side is a bit different anybody know what im talking about

  • @MiniSnipzProductions

Have you find out the difference? im about to get the NHL logo version as well.

  • @adaptation97 its just a bit older version but a good skate

  • I have recently purchased these and might I say they have to be the best skates I have ever bought. Super light, responsive, and comfortable right out of the box! I got the 09 models for $320.00. Well worth the money!

  • I'm selling 5k rbk pump ice skates for 250 dollars.

Go on craigslist and see if you wanna buy them.

It should be posted on craigslist later this week

  • I love my 6ks.

  • this is a fuck ugly skate though

  • yes my american friends i can tell this to u that these r da best skates ever , i play hockey for a living , and they fit my feet , like a xtrathin condom!!...but alsa.....i was injured , i pumped too much air into the pump -pump button ...maybe 100 times , and i was bodychecked and my ankles exploded , but its alright its alright...my contract is good till 2013, and my hot girlfriend breastfeeds me everynight , so its ok its ok . GO USA!!!...and remeber too much pump pump and boom boom!!

  • I have Easton S3 skates....do you think any of the Pump ones like 4K and above would be a decent upgrade from those?

I always have a bit of issue with foot pain like the S3 and cheapo Baur one05 tend to hurt if I try to tight them up so it is either pain or non tight skates...neither a good option.

  • i dont like it with that tongue on it, i prefer it with the white 9k tongue on the black, do i own the pro stocks?

  • Just got these skates a couple weeks ago. Some things noticed is that the tongue isn't long enough for you to skate with the tucked out from the shinpads. Another thing I noticed is that I actually felt lace bite on these things even with the lace bite bar on as compared to my old skates which are Bauer Supreme 7000's. Not really killing it for those who would want to purchase these skates, they really are very light and are very responsive to my feet and has helped improve my skating greatly.

  • Not really the most knowledgeable with skates but just trying to give my 2 cents. I don't regret purchasing the skates though.

  • I bought these skates recently, before watching this video. They are indeed incredibly lightweight.

One thing though, on the box there was nothing whatsoever about NOT using the pump after baking. I had them baked, put them on and used the pump. No failure 4 weeks later. Guess I'm lucky — wish I'd have seen this video before to know NOT to pump them while heated up.

  • I just bought these

RBK 5K Sr. Pump Ice Hockey Skates '09 Model

    for $168 from Hockey Monkey

  • Get the 5k's. They are no different then the 9k's. They run around 200 dollars depending on where you go. They are really nice

  • your opinion. 9k or u+ pro

  • anyone know where i can find these cheap all im seeing is 329.99 any help would be great....thanx

  • thats really cheap already the skates were like 500 bucks 2 years ago so its not gunna get any cheaper unless u get them used

  • @transplant07 $329 is cheap. They were $600 when they first came out.

  • these or the x40?

  • these. i had 9k pumps then switched to the x50's, and that really threw my balance of because the pumps are the only skates that can really lock your ankles in.

  • i got these for $100 bucks :p

  • this is the 09 version right?

  • get mission fuel AGX reviewd :)

  • Is $300 canadian a good price for these shates??

  • @hawksdefence12 $300 is a really good price. I may get these skates or the X:50 skates.

  • @hawksdefence12 To be honest no .

  • @kswaggO7 Well a year ago maybe, I just got One95s instead

  • @hawksdefence12 yes!

  • RBK 9ks with LS2 costs only $325 or 275 on sale in my city.

For the price they are the best skates out there.

Like the x60s are around 650 in my city, 570 on sale.

Recommend these, very durable BUT YOU MUST GET THE TUIK LS2 HOLDER!!!!!!

    RBK holder = shit.

  • @JTF2polish With the blade or not? and the ls2 means:Lightspeed 2?

  • i just got a pro stock version of these, i love them. They kill

  • these skates are gona end up being like almost 300bucks but they are freakin nice though they sure made it good for anybodys skating abilities

  • for christmas i bought roller hockey skates mission wicked 3 are they good?

  • ccms have the lock thing too.

    not just rbk

  • They are the same company.

  • Shaun, That letter refers to the width, for instance a 11 D width is narrower than a 11E, from what I know the largest most brands make is a EE.

    Brad.

  • when shopping online for skates theres numbers and then a letter like D or E what does this mean?

  • thanxs for ur addvice very helpful, thinking of buying it now

  • Nope

  • are these skates heavy?

  • i think they are ugly! the

    ccm or bauer is best

  • bauer's vapor brand is the best!

  • @MAmoviesRS not about looks its about performance

  • my skates popped and i got a new pair today

  • he said it was lite like 5 times

  • peace of shitt there like weights on your feet. got rid of them for XXXXs rbk makes good sticks and protection but not skates

  • So uncomftorable and heavy

    Bauers are better

  • i wanted these.

  • I had these all last year, and i loved them.

So i got the same ones but white this year.

  • i think im gonna get a pair of the white ones. if you have wide feet, go for reebok.

  • Is there any changes on 07 to 09 Rbk skates? i heard the arch is higher on 09.

  • other then the look and i think the tongue, not all that sure man

  • lol bladder and skates letting out air XD my favorite hockeyusdotcom vid XD

  • i had the 60s and they messed up my feet i got these and my foot was happy :)

  • looks kindof ugly to be truthful

  • best skate ever becasue i got them for the performance i needed not for the look but i like the white

  • i hate these skates, i wear custom white pumps (no actual pump, extra large white felt tongues, my number on the upper corner of the tongue, ect)

  • bought the white ones (different tongue) 9k. In BC you can get them from 450CDN-500CDN new (online US stores are 699$).

  • there $350 at my local hockey store .. the black and white new models.

  • how does that work? thats almost impossible. the regular stores cost of the skates are 400$. if i were you, i would buy one of every size and re-sell them else where:P

  • there all 350 around here, new and old but theres hardly any old style ones left

  • Not here in Ontario. :( Here they are $650. I prefer the white ones also but it's all just for looks anyways. Still wish I could buy these.

  • i decided not to go with 9k's now :P, ima do up the graf because even tho 9k's are sick, they dont take that long to fall apart... so they wear out quick

  • Nah, 9k's will last you a good 2+ years of nonstop use . been using them for few months now (skate 4times a week) and still look new. With the exception of a couple of scratches another player did on it but thats expected.

  • thats why u put tuuk's on em big guy.

its the RBK blade that falls apart.

    The boot itself is indestructible...

Its the same deal with the razor edge made by easton and the RocketRunner made by CCM.

Tuuks is the way to go my friend

  • Comment removed

  • I got those skates :P .. but they made a big hole in my bank account :S

  • Really nice but really tight and uncomtable

  • my pump broke, what should i do?

  • repair

  • really nice skates

  • yo i really want these skates but i wanna get them in white and if some one has some that is size 8.0 D i was wondering if we good négociate about this ( i pay shipping )

  • i got brand new 7.5 with wide e

  • i just got 9ks and when they were baked the guy told me to pump them while they were heated so idk..

  • bauer är bäst

  • men bara i skridskor. klubban ska vara warrior-.-

  • So is CCM and RBK the same company now? My friend has the 5K's and so do I. But we have different toe caps, I have the vector toe cap and he has the regular toe caps, and my tongue on my skate is a lot longer (Which I like just I hate the toe cap)

  • Not exactly. Reebok owns CCM but CCM still makes their own stuff.

  • OHHH, alright thanks

  • lol bladder failure

  • just a quick question-

I'm a 6 foot Bantam player, and I have very skinny ankles. I have the Vapor XXXX's but I don't really like them because theres too much room up at the top of the skate so I dont have much stability. Will the pump on these skates actually help with tightening up on my ankle?

  • Well, in my opinion, I'd say you should get a Nike Bauer Supreme series skate. I use the Supreme 135 and so far, it's the best skate I've ever used. The Supreme model is really made for a anatomical fit, meaning it fits your feet very snug and feels very tight, especially around the ankle. Vapour skates, for me, tend to feel loose, because of the fact that Vapour's are made to give your feet more room, as Supreme's are not.

  • They feel really tight if you pump them up a lot, I reccomend the pump series but the toe cap is a lot different, it fits a lot more snug, it is uncomfortable at first so just get them baked. Otherwise, really nice skate.

  • 4:00 thats what she said :)

  • very good review here, i am a proud owner of one. all those rumours about the pump breaking is usually false. i've had mine for around 3 months but i've used it more than 30 times. only bad thign about it is that the the padding on the side is not thick enough. i guess thats what you give up for a light skate, but these are EPIC, highly recommend them

  • rbk owns ccm

  • no way mate !

  • no likke rbk owns the company ccm

  • oh .. got it now ! first time to know tho ! thanx

  • the rbk pump is better with termo blade

  • What hockey skate company is the best like easton nike ccm or whatever, and if im loooking to spend around 150 bucks, reply

  • its all preference. go try some skates on and figure out wat you like... these 9ks are about 550 bucks so just a little more than you want to spend

  • ur not going to very far then almost every skate is over 300$ my skates where 660$ i love thesse skates

  • im gonna buy the s15 but are they how stiff?

  • these skates suck i went through 4 pairs of the 9k dont waste ur money get the xxxx or one95 and u got jipped if u paied 350 there 250

  • I got the RBK 5ks for about $350.00. Can anyone give me any info on the 5ks?. How many times are you suppose to pump them up? which skates would be better?

  • lol whats with the -2 rating? lol

  • go out and try on other skates. Only you can find out how much you like to pump them, i never used the pumps on my 9k's. I'd defiantly take a look at vapor xxxx's there in your price range and a very well made skate

  • agree with leafsrule16. You can get great deals on XXXX

As far as pumps just do 4-5 pumps, never over pump.

  • The vapors are reallyy light compared to these, I have the 5ks the toe cap could be roomier because they scrunch up your toes. But it's all just preferance.

  • haha.... dont want "bladder failure" now do we

  • u guys should try to get ur hands on the bauer x 60 skates if u can that would be great

  • i cant decide which brand to go for ccm, reebok or bauer i really like the ccm v08 skates becaues they are a good skate for a cheap price but a pro shop near me is selling the reebok 7ks really cheap but then again i like the look of he new bauer x40s they are the only skates in my prce range so could someone help me out?

  • I have CCM Vectors and they also have a lace lock.

  • the nhl has pro s17s

  • i may buy them for $500 Halifax is it a good deal?

  • i mean canada

  • how much money is it?

  • 300$ (Montreal)

  • can you do a video on the stealth s17 skates?

  • u mean S15 skates right

  • i have those skates they are good serouisly

  • 1000,3000...for what?

  • 1k,3k,7k,9k......can anybody tell me what does "k" mean? thank U!

  • it means thousand. So 1000, 3000, 7000, 9000

  • its the year the were make likw 1k 2001 3k 2003 7k 2007 9k 2009 i think

  • Is there really a big diffrence between the 9k and 5k besides the price?

  • 9k is lighter

  • guys what is lace bite ?

  • Lace bite arises from pressure of the laces over the extensor hallucis tendon, which runs from the front of the lower leg to the base of the big toe. Ouch.

  • tour is better

  • whats lighter the 9k pumps or the U+ ?

  • easton s15...

  • good answers, i had the s15 and now i play with the vapor xxxx and the se16

  • What is the difference between the 2008 and 2009 model of the 9k ?

  • so when u tie ur skates and stuff after u pump it so it fits to ur foot better..plz reply

  • the pumps look gorgeous but do they really make a difference?

  • Other than the price, I don't see a big difference between these skates, and the 5ks.

I just don't know how many pumps your suppose to give them?

  • i love how he always reads the label when hes explaining something like with the liner he doesnt really know wat he's saying

  • lol bladder failure xD, i have these skates and they're fit pretty well if you've got a wide flat forefoot but skinny ankles and heels. They're also pretty comfy and protective, i found also that the stiffness was just right for me

  • vector had skatelocks before rbk dude, i have v10.0 and rbk 9k(08/09) and by far the vector 10 is older, but still more comfortable and lighter, the v10.0 performs better too. the rbk 9k has more gimmiks, ccm used pumps 60 yrs ago. the footbed is the prime example of an egg head, who cares about the footsbed thing!

  • rbk and ccm are the same company and ccm got rid of the skatelock with the new u+ line of skates

  • last years skate they offered in white

  • i thought they were white

  • i think you are talking about the new 7k pump

  • no its rbk 9k special edition
