  • THANKS! u helped a lot <3

  • it doesnt work

  • @TOMGREENAWAY667 You may mean it doesn't work for you. But it does work for everyone else who follows the steps shown in the above video.

  • where do you get this. i cant find it

  • @mrDJC1 You can find Sony Movie Studio at Amazon. Or download free trial from Sony's web site.

  • the way you talk reminds me of nichola cage

  • thanks Bill only just got used to effects, sick of not being able to upload. :D

  • Well ive got a BIG problem.

i clicked my video preview at close but how do i get i back :( ?

  • @assasinVX Use alt 4 to turn on or turn off the video preview window. Or go to 'view' in the top toolbar and turn on View there

  • Hi Bill, you are a b

BIG help. I can not find Alpha CG anywhere?

  • @SCOTMIN The company that was offering Alpha CG was bought out by Adobe and Alpha CG was abandoned. No longer available.

  • Thanks Bill, I really like your videos and they help me a great deal, keep it up, cheers!

  • hey i'm trying to upload a video i made on sony to youtube but it says something about not being able to convert the video file, can you help me please?

  • @simpllyiliana To unload to YouTube, you first need to use 'render as', and produce the video as a wmv. Then upload the wmv file to YouTube

  • @guerillabill DUDE I TRYED IT AND I WONT WORK!!! HEEELLLPPP!!!

  • Thanks for the tutorial.

  • THANK YOU!!

  • When i try to Render my intro it says that 'the template is invalid' any suggestions??

  • @xLCTVx To render HD videos, you need Movie Studio Platinum, Movie Studio HD, or Vegas Pro. If you are seeing the 'template is invalid' message, it means you have the basic version of Movie Studio. Sony is currently offering an update to Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 for $34.

  • hey do u know how to convert sony vegas videos so i could play it on youtube

  • @Jhofred12 See my YouTube video, 'YouTube settings for Sony Vegas Movie Studio '

  • For audio I don't have the CBR option or the attribute one.

  • can you show how to make a intro

  • @PSPGlover Check out my '101 Tips & Tricks with Sony Movie Studio' DVD at Amazon. In that I show how to make several different intros for videos and DVDs.

  • works for vegas pro 9 too. thanks.

  • super tip. thanx

  • Thankss alot this vid really help me man :D :D

  • wich program do you use to record the screen???

  • I use Camtasia Studio 6 to record and edit screen capture videos

  • Its good to hear the Sony studio versions work for you. If you need any tips feel free to stop by our channel

  • Excellent tutorial, thank you. Question: Why do you reduce the horizontal resolution from 720 to 640? Why not keep all of the 720 pixels and use 405 horizontal, giving the same 1.777 ratio? Or use 720 x 360 for 2:1 widescreen. Are you not cutting out useful pixels when you use 640?

  • Thanks Bill! I love your tutorials, so simple, yet so helpful! I've learned half the stuff I know about Vegas so far from your videos. Thank you!

  • Bill do you use anything to compress videos? When I render the files come out HUGE and take forever to upload =) Thanks great videos!

  • If you render HD videos, the files will be large. If you render using the settings above, the file size will be much smaller

  • Which version of Vegas Pro are you running? Any reasons why you like Platinum Edition better?

  • I have Vegas Pro 5,6,7 & 8, as well as Movie Studio 6,7,8 & 9 Platinum

Vegas Pro has more features, but for most of my productions, Sony Movie Studio has all I need.

  • very helpful. my friends and i have started a production company called Redlightning Entertainment, you can check out our channel, but we use Sony Vegas and are always experimenting with video effects and what not. I am probably going to purchase your DVD.

    How much does it cost???

  • Nice tutorial, it's really easy to follow! Do you use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition 9 for all your video editing? Would be great to hear your feedback

  • Even though I also have Vegas Pro, I usually use Movie Studio Platinum 9 for most of my video editing.

  • Bill what's your screen resolution?

  • Which resolution are you referring to? Windows?

    Camtasia?

    Camcorder video?

  • Resolution of your computer, I notice your fonts are large and I have problems seeing mine I want to know your resolution and how to get the fonts large like that.

  • I've set windows to display large fonts - which is a good setting when you record screen capture movies.

To do this, right click on your desktop, select 'properties', select 'appearance', set font size to 'large'. Then click 'ok'

  • Alright thanks alot Bill awesome video by the way!

  • i cant change the high speed internet

  • Be sure to choose 'cbr' in the audio an video settings. If you fail to do that, you can't change the bit rate settings.

  • thank you...

  • does this work for sony vegas 8.0?

  • It works. I tried and it does.

  • yea...

  • its been awhile

  • whoo another guerillabill video after a long time

  • Awesome, dude.

  • nice bill i used alot of your tutorials...but i knew this already but still well detailed tutorial i do this another way by right clicking the video on the timeline and hit properties and change it there and if there is little black bars i use the track motion to fix it oh also for all of you that have 4:3 ratio vids(not wide screen) already on youtube put this in your tags to convert it automatically yt:stretch=16:9
