Paul's opinions are becoming more and more "mainstream" every day. Growing numbers of voters are beginning to agree with things that previously made him only a "protest candidate". A party that "takes out" or disregards his victories might succeed sometimes in a small way, but in the bigger picture that party will only take itself out of the mainstream.

Much of what Ron Paul has to say regarding U.S. monetary issues are true, but his truths are tainted by the racist views he harbors. If one was to believe Ron Paul when he says he did not read his newsletters and that he now disavows what was written, the fact that he allowed his name to be put on it meant he tacitly approved the content. Notice, Paul never said his name was used without his permission. Why? Because he approved the writings then and he still does today. Wake up people!

The link did not work. I think he is a closet racist with excellent intuition into America's fiscal woes. The problem with Ron Paul, as smart as he is, he is still missing the bigger picture. Everything I've read and seen on him has shown me he only has a portion of the whole scheme of things.

What makes you think Paul wont run into the same gridlock as Obama? In fact, more so. Hope for America will be if congress all get on the same page--then compromise. Americans are yelling: compromise! But how can they compromise when each party has a different set of problems as well as a different set of solutions.

I know this may be off topic, but I am so sick of hearing the mainstream media talk about some old "so called" racist news letters that he allegedly put out in the 1980's. Notice they never tell you what was said that was taken to be so racist. I hate straw man arguments. As far as I know it could all just be someones opinion. Ron Paul has done way more good for this country than bad!

All the other Republican candidates openly bash members of the LGBT community and Muslims, but Ron Paul is the racist, homophobic one because he has repeatedly denounced certain content not written or read by him before being published in a couple of his newsletters a long time ago.
