The time has come for Free energy to be revealed ,But the Oil companies want these technologies unknown to the masses,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!
haha now what i really want to see again is the the scene where the camera pans to the portrait of a grinnin' GWB and Hoover while the classic XFiles theme played on. That was easiest the funniest non-sequiter joke in the movie
this has nothing to do with the x-files original series :( sadly enough, this could of been CSI: ALASKA :)
Wheres FBI director Skinner?? Wheres Cancerman?? Wheres the Lone Gunman Club??? Everything that ever made the X-files good isnt represented in this movie...its a complete departure...anyone else agree?
There wasn't much left to go back to since things were wrapped up so tightly. Skinner is there. The rest you've mentioned are dead. So unless you meant ghost cameos, there wasn't really any way to bring them in. The actors themselves are too old to play in a plot before season 9, leaving pretty much only the M+S relationship. Also new people can watch this movie just fine too now.
The movie didn't need every old detail revived but its delivery disappointed me a little. I still liked it tho =)
hey dude, you looks to be a new comer for X-Files tele series.Cancerman died in the last episode of 9th season.Lone Gunmen also died in the 9th season. If you want them to appear in this movie,it will make this a movie full of ghosts....
@jetsonic69 as people have said before the lone gunmen are dead. they died in jump the shark. Cancerman is also dead , though some of my friends firmly believe he is still out there. Skinner is also in this movie.
it was stated outright that this movie was not going to be apart of the mytharc but rather a monster of the week type movie, so it makes sense that there isn't much relation to the TV show apart from the leads.
how'd you catch that job? I'd love to help market a movie...i'd do it for little to nothing. I need something to do besides read my college physics books :)
How'd I get the job? Well... maybe...16 years working in television. 14 years as a computer, science, technology broadcaster. 14 years online. Web designer. Web marketer. Worked as the Royal Television Society's new media advisor. Worked for Universal's website. Worked on Channel 4's website. Worked on several films for Fox before including Sunshine, 28 Weeks Later, Daywatch. Did the Indiana Jones/Seesmic online event. Plus: mental X-Files fan. ;)

I'm working on the online marketing of the film. :) Some of the clips are from the X-Files widget others have simply been released online.
