When you play the part starting at 2:16 and ending at 3:07 do you use a distortion of some sort or is that just the crunch of the Wal? When I go to play that I use a distortion but in some venues it sounds too harsh. I was just wondering. (I play on a Stingray by the way.)

i noticed in a video with Justin's bass tech, he uses a Red Witch Titan delay pedal which has 3 delay modules that can be set in parallel or series, justin has his set in series to get that awesome delay effect

@towguy82 yes but he is only "experimenting" with those pedals...I guess he is messing around with them for the new album. However he uses the Boss DD-3 as his main delay pedal and on the recording of 10000 days. ;)
