@yarmo28 the inspiration for these wonderful buildings is Heaven - as discribed in the Quran - they wanted to recreate it on earth! i would love to one day vist Spain and view the print my people left behind! :)

@denzelswifey86 An American author from the 19th century made the genius of the Mozarabic culture of southern Spain known to all; he wrote 'Granada' and 'Alhambra'. Of course, his books were a retelling of Arabic tales for the American audience but, as a child reading his work, I learned to respect the joy of such a culture and to feel saddened by its demise.
