fun thing that was recently discovered: t-rex wasnt a predator, it was a scavenger.

also, spino had SPINES. and the t-rex didnt eat them anyways. the t-rex's main food sources was dead stuff, or a few baby triceratops.

If so why did t rex need such a huge bite force? all predators will scavenge if given a chance. Even lions are natorious for stealing kills thats just what you do when your top of the food chain. But if t rex was hungry and there wherer no dead stuff it could steal like lions or hiyenas it would hunt.

the t-rex's bite force was for hurting animals that tried to kill it.

people loves Spinosaurus simply because of jurrassic park 3 but in fact thid dinosaur is not as dangerous as any other carnivorus of his size. the shape of his jwas makes them weaker to blunts and they can provide and lesser strengh than the T-rex.
