It's too bad the organist didn't KNOW the song! Most churches I go to don't even sing hymns anymore. And a lot of church musicians don't read music either. Hymnbooks aren't even in the pews.  Farther along is such a country & western favorite too! There are a lot of C&W stars who have covered that song! GREAT SONG!!!

This is one of the songs the Lord placed in my head when my mother died. We live in a cursed world and the effects of sin are all around us like death and sickness and disease but God's will is not that we rub the lamp and He'll respond like a genie but rather that He will be glorified. Sometimes that glory comes via pain. Paul preached Christ BECAUSE he got sick in Galatians 4:13. That sickness gave him the opportunity to preach somehow. Let God be glorified! We'll understand it, farther along!
