I'm rewatching this fight for the first time and it's a shame so much people are discrediting Masato for his win, saying the judges favored him. He had a legit won here. I didn't see Souwer winning the first time i watched and still can't see he winning even after watching again.

@nationalhacker Goodness, don't let girls watch K1.....you probably know Souwer defeated Masato twice (K1 Max 2006 semifinal + K1 Max 2007 Final). Even Masato said: If I were in Souwer's shoes, I would not fight against me. Absolutely not. I don't see any reason for fighting with someone you already defeated twice in two fights." But Souwer went for the challenge and he gave Masato a tough farewell fight. Both are great fighters, and both fighters deserve respect.

@haeger30 originally was to be the challenge, Petrosyan vs masato, but Petrosyan has rightly refused because if he had been defeated by masato it would take virtually the championship belt, although I doubt that would have defeated Masato Petrosyan but this is a personal opinion however deep respect for these two great athletes
