Good lord, Hyperion from Einhander has got nothing on this guy. At least with Hyperion, you have plenty of room for movement.

Damn this game is a masterpiece. No shmup yet has matched the awesome of this boss battle. Everything from the atmosphere, to the music, to the sheer intensity of his attack patterns - this blows all of those "bullet hell" memory tests straight out of the water.

Treasure have a gift for boss battles and everyone knows it, be they overthetop bombastic clashes, solemn, heartpounding duels, or simply miniboss filler. They are always, ALWAYS, out of control. Sin & Punishment 2 looks very promising.

Ease in beating Xiga comes from flat out beating him before he gets hard. First form you can kill without it firing a shot, second form is also easy because the first time he fires shots at you none of them target you except the ones coming from his hands. You can sit in the middle and move up and down and never get hit.  Third form is flat out easy to dodge long enough to kill, same with 4th.
