i figured out how to do it just get the new 4.5 update for the 8830 and the gps will be fully enabled and u can get the update from a guy on utube just search bb 4.5 update downloaoh yea the update disables the vibration capabilytes tho

Apparently Tom doesn't realize that CDMA equipped BlackBerrys don't have the full menu of information under the GPS. DOH!

Take any CDMA BlackBerry Tommy Boy, go to Options-Advanced Options-GPS...

Do you see Lat/Long/Assist/# of satellites/etc?

Didn't think so. Those only show up on GSM devices...And it CLEARLY shows in your fake video that those options do appear on your magical Verizon 8830.
