  • i just did pure cardio today! day 5 its awesome so hard.. i just hope i dont loose my strength i gained from p90x..oh well once im done 60 days im gonna go back to p90x plus or p90x either one!

  • Hey buddy, thanks for posting this video. I was feeling sluggish and unmotivated for today's Pure Cardio (it's only day 3 and I'm already fighting with myself about working out lol), but seeing you do it makes me feel pumped up about it! :) Keep up the good work!!

  • Yeah, I think my max heart rate was 163.

  • I can't believe you burned that many calories! I used a heart rate monitor with chest strap the day I did pure cardio and cardio abs and I only burned about 600 calories.

  • lol yea, I've also probably got more fat to lose. Each person will vary with how many calories they burn, its all about getting the heart rate to get really high, then drop on your break.

  • just to let you know....i'm a girl...(buddy!) Definitely don't want to post a video of me working out! My scale is not budging but I feel like I'm losing inches which is all I really care about.

  • Lol my apologies:) Yea never use the scale to determine what you are losing. Glad to hear you are losing inches though. Wonderful feeling:)

  • Couple months at least. I just ordered a set of powerBlock dumbbells so Im giving p90x ago with those when they arrive.

    If i had the extra money I would get Insanity now for sure.

  • What kind of heart rate monitor do you use? I have one from Beachbody but I don't think it tells me how many calories I burn, which is what I would like.

  • I have a brand called Timex. Beachbody sells 2 different ones. One with a chest strap and one without. If it has a chest strap, it can count calories burned but if it is just the watch then it cant. You can get ahold of me on skype if you need more help.

  • Thanks! Yea I have a lot more fat to lose than you lol. You are already in great shape so you may not burn as many calories but you are still slimming up very well.

  • Of all the vids Ive been watching on here, I think that you are the farthest along, and I preface this with, "I don't care for yoga". Is there yoga in the Insanity program? If so i'm still gonna do it but just wondering, and what is the longest workout in the series that you've found so far?

  • Thanks buddy I appreciate that:) I definately put my heart and soul into this program. There is yoga but not a lot. There is a 5 minute stretch before the workout and they throw a few yoga moves in. For the first month the workouts are about 40 minutes, the second month they are 55 minutes.

  • I don't like the Yoga in P90X either. The only thing worse is the music in this video. LOL Insanity's Yoga is very minimal and only in the beginning stretch.
