  • Pretty awesome!!

  • I have been listening to and enjoying Albert Ayler since the mid-70's which just makes me old. Nicely done. Thanks for posting.

  • top!!!!!!

  • Yeah you guys did a good job

  • Albert Ayler is fucking good. That's amazing you guys even attempted a cover. Sounds great though! The stand up bass was perfect... just like the original.

  • Spirits rejoice! A very nice rendering of "Ghosts."

  • Sounds really beautiful. Add a cello and it'll be pure gem!

  • bookah bears 4 lyfe!!!!

  • so pretty, so nice!

  • You guys need to listen to Don Byas and Chalie Ventura records.

  • best freejazz i heard .. today :-)

  • From about 4:00 on, it's sounding very Sonny Rollins to me - nice take!

  • "next time we'll get our free jazz more together"???!!??!!?!?! uhhh, what? no offense, you're incredible players, but free jazz more together? haha, doesnt quite make any sense to me.

  • haha, yeah thats because it was what we like to call 'sarcasm'.

  • Free Jazz is more interesting when it's not together. But sure it can be together once in a while. And by the whole song is not exactly "free jazz";Because there's a chorus. You guys are really awesome, but this was one of Albert Ayler's non-free jazz songs. There is certainly some avant-garde in there on the improvisation. Awesome, you guys.

  • incredible

  • yeah we weren't even planning on playing ghosts, it just kind of happened...albert is the man. first variation-theme? my bad, maybe next time we'll get our free jazz more together. thanks for the mostly kind words guys...

  • This is pretty alright, wish there was a video recording of Albert playing it

  • not too bad

  • not really like albert but it isn't bad

  • Schokone Why would they want to play it like albert?

surely they are using it as a staring pont to explore their own voices?

  • i just want to say: "not really like albert but it isn't bad"

these two guys are really great, too...

    don't take everything too serious!

  • ok, cool :)

  • you have butched the first variation-theme

  • Superb!!!

  • Excellent!

  • GREAT...JUST GREAT...
