Albert Ayler is fucking good. That's amazing you guys even attempted a cover. Sounds great though! The stand up bass was perfect... just like the original.
"next time we'll get our free jazz more together"???!!??!!?!?! uhhh, what? no offense, you're incredible players, but free jazz more together? haha, doesnt quite make any sense to me.
Free Jazz is more interesting when it's not together. But sure it can be together once in a while. And by the whole song is not exactly "free jazz";Because there's a chorus. You guys are really awesome, but this was one of Albert Ayler's non-free jazz songs. There is certainly some avant-garde in there on the improvisation. Awesome, you guys.
yeah we weren't even planning on playing ghosts, it just kind of happened...albert is the man. first variation-theme? my bad, maybe next time we'll get our free jazz more together. thanks for the mostly kind words guys...
Pretty awesome!!

From about 4:00 on, it's sounding very Sonny Rollins to me - nice take!

Schokone Why would they want to play it like albert?
surely they are using it as a staring pont to explore their own voices?
