I'll respond to your question. His opinion on military spending is to reduce our military budget to the level it was in 2001 which was 316 Billion dollars. Considering that the fiscal 2010 military budget is aproximately 693 Billion dollars I think hes on to a pretty good idea. Please note that 316 Billion is more than China, Russia, France, Iran, Israel, and all of europe's defense spending combined. It will still promote a strong defense and is more reflective of our means.
