They probably used the lights like that to save money, like they might be the lights used for the golf/jetta. Making it definately easier to replace and well I think it actually looks kinda neat...symmetrical lights wouldve been too predictable!

In my opinion it is most likely a high beam and low beam similar to a sport motorcycle. Although it is very different, it is pretty cool looking.

still, I think these type of vehicle are for small size countries like Europe, not for NorthAmerica area, I mean, Mexico USA and Canada.

See my concept for a custom made 3-wheel car & motorcycle on ebay (#270193159208). It's a car that is powered by a detachable motorcycle, which means it can be either a car or a motorcycle. When the motorcycle is attached it is a 3-wheel car powered by a motorcycle. The motorcycle detaches from the enclosed cabin so that the bike can be driven alone. I doubt that anyone has ever built this type of vehicle.

IMHO, if the VAW had the balls (and the money) to make the Bugatti Veyron (a masterpiece in its own right), they should make this; I'm inclined to believe they'll actually make money on it.
