  • Religion is the culprit. It robs children of the right to learn the laws of logic and reason, and it stunts their intellectual growth and instills bigotry. It eats up public school funds and indoctrinates young minds into a life of apathy, in which they needn't search for any answers beyond what their primitive folklore provides. We are losing sight of the fact that this country was founded not on principles that freed all religions, but illuminated principles that free us FROM it.

  • america is a very strong country and the people do not expect to have to do stuff because there so strong, but they should work harder to keep the same in the future. ( future is not real we are just a memory).

  • Lesson learned don't argue with michio '

  • because schools have bad employees. its about haveing control of the students. who ever controls the students has the money

  • we should show this video to some KKK bastards

  • The answer is the department of education and the teachers unions.

  • He's not saying anything that Mike Judge hasn't already said about the intelligence in America. I have a feeling that Dr. Kaku watched the movie idiocracy before this interview

  • Michio Kaku is so smart

  • @SpicyHam Smart? Nah, just a Media bitch, he is a pseudo scientist. But says interesting points of view from time to time.

  • Dr. Kaku tells it like it is.

  • i agree with kaku.

  • I saw him speak like a week or two back at Suny Albany, he's brilliant... Internet contact lenses coming soon, google and a few other companies have Internet glasses. By the end of the year. Just like the Internet it's all military prototypes.

  • THANK LIBERAL MEDIA GARBAGE FOOD FLUORIDE AND THYMERASOL VACCINES FOR THE 3RD WORLD LEVEL INTELLIGENCE

  • Blame it on religion.

While the rest of the world is preparing its kids for a world dominated by scientific discovery, Americans are standing around arguing that humans and the other Great Apes don't have a common ancestor when this was proved decades ago!!!

No WONDER the country is dumbed down. When you're taught from an early age that you don't need proof or even evidence to believe something is true, you cripple the kids' ability to think straight.

Muslim countries have the same problem.

  • @warren52nz And if you don't believe me Google "Religiosity versus Intelligence" and you'll find that the more religious a country is, the less intelligent its citizens are.

Interestingly, in spite of the CLAIMS made by religious nutcases, the more religious a country is, the MORE VIOLENT it is too! Think about it. Think of an Atheistic country (look it up, more likely) and see how involved it is in wars. Then look at the most religious countries. It's rather striking really.

  • @warren52nz then why are the world leaders involve in satanic cults lmao and they dont deny it some of the groups are secret some are not.

  • @323BROWNBOY define Satanic cults.

  • @warren52nz But to counter what you say about Muslim countries many thinkers from such countries have given the world many things that other countries were not even close to discovering. Like the concept of the number zero.

But I agree that when religion is brought into politics or replaces politics bad things happen. Imagine how many da Vinci's or Galileo's were likely silenced before the Renaissance.

  • @blkcpdconure True. I'm talking about averages though of course. Religion dumbs people down but not everyone in a country shares the same views on the subject. Scientists tend to be Atheists (quite strongly actually) and the poor and uneducated tend to be religious. If you're not educated, saying "God dunnit" is the easiest way to fool yourself into thinking you have all the answers and you don't have to spend years at school learning anything.

    It makes sense really.

  • @warren52nz if religion is so dumb like you say then why is every ancient civilizations and new discoveries always involve religion and scientists must study all those believes first huh you can keep learning and learnig but will never have all answers and will not get you anywere you will just die in the end.

  • @323BROWNBOY "why is every ancient civilizations and new discoveries always involve religion"

Huh? Name a scientific discovery where religion contributed something.

Humans have a built in curiosity about how things work. Before Science, the only answer they could think of was that a god must being responsible. Lightning, tornadoes, plagues, mental illness, everything. Now we know NOTHING has a supernatural cause and believing they do in the 21st century is naive. Religion dumbs people down.

  • @warren52nz And dont forget that conspiracy theorists are normally religious.

  • @eddydelo There are actually two big groups of conspiracy theorists. One group is primarily Christians that think we are living in the end times. The other group are primarily Atheists that think religion is a part of all the conspiracies. Of course there are some who take bits and pieces from each side so you can't really put people in simple boxes.

  • I agree with this video 100% and do not care to talk shit....I'm American and said in the beginning that our education system is non existent in reality.

  • yep all over the dick

  • Oh and my Uncle FOUGHT for black rights as the head of the Labor board in Memphis, he called for the strikes and was on Dr. Martin Luther Kings side. Acting like I got rich off of the poor is just ignorant.

  • She wants my dick BAD! She heard I played guitar and got moist.....STOP and listen you can hear it.....WOP WOP get loose.

  • American Schools ARE SHIT! If I speak to the AVERAGE high school/college graduate THEY ARE VERY SLOW!!!! I mean unless your a Dr. and a real one I have no respect, your position means nothing to me nor should it to you. The Validictorian of my class said in his speach, he was korean and A GENIUS, "don't listen to YOUR TEACHERS, they are here for money and your here for education, with all the outlets available just study." Teachers were pissed BUT ITS THE TRUTH.

  • The internet IS SOOO RICH with REAL information I CAN NOT FATHOM why you would trust a book written by someone FOR PROFITS and with hidden agenda's and protocol.... You can go on any forum ON EARTH and speak with the MOST knowledgable people ON EARTH.....You can do anything and it doesn't involve school......Math yeah, I can add and subtract my money.......Other than that or projecting future profits I DON"T CARE.

  • What the fuck distorted incentives is the guy talking about at the end? If you look around, research at all (good on ya), you'll see that paying attention in math class pays off. If you're some dumb ass that thinks every entertainer is rich (again, you're a dumbass) you can fuck around and do squat in math/comp sci class and collect the garbage of the scientists, engineers, technicians, etc...all you want :) We can't all be Profs...

  • 2:32 - put in place :)

  • How the fuck do you know what happened 400 years ago?!?!?!?!? I will wait.......YOU DON'T....Well neither do the book retailers or printers and at this point the writers are being told what to put in and what to leave out. I really really really really really, can tell ALL OF YOU! Save your money, study at home, make your money, MOVE OUT OF AMERICA!!! Im 27 and well over halfway there, owning 1 home paid for and buying a second THIS MONTH... I did not graduate college and HATE SCHOOL

  • @willeng84 How do you know what happened at ANY time then...yes, you buying two homes will make the history books.

  • Comment removed

  • @willeng84 I see. It's "you're" for "you are" by the way...as well as "My family has been IN high positions", unless your (not you're...see?) family HAS been high (drug-wise) for major events. I will choose to take the high (not "drug" high, but ethically and metaphorically) road and assume that your (not you're) response has been overly emotionally (wide-eyed, passionately, and borderlined on fanatical...you good American, you) charged and rushed, and assume you're not retarded.

  • @newguy33X Go watch more cartoons and leave it to real men. You can spell I stack money.

  • @newguy33X That response was honestly THE worst response I have EVER seen. You correct my spelling but can't discount the fact that EVERYTHING I SAY IS FACT....What am I lying about?? My family? Nope....My education..NOPE only thing embarrassing about that is the fact I was taught BY U.S. TEACHERS and BOOKS....The subject matter is SHIT, the lack luster approach is just sad. The best college professor I ever studied under told me I was the quickest kid he's seen in a while and my success is real

  • @willeng84 I see that money stacking goes by pretty quickly, and that money-stackers have very little to do with their lives. You must not have seen much. I've seen people living in hovels that people in the U.S. would be dragged off to jail for for trying to use as dog kennels. I've seen people who were (with no possible escape in sight...not even a trip 100 miles away for the hell of it) at the mercy of the rich who wanted western-style luxuries such as HEAT and A/C.

  • @newguy33X WHAT???? Literally that makes 0 since, you look at fucking cartoons all day, how pathetic....Go watch gargoyles or whatever disney imaginary shit YOU WANT.....I will be fucking the bitches you PRAYED YOU GOT in college...TO THIS DAY....What the fuck does someone staying in shit have to do with me.......My mother wasn't what my fathers side wanted and I spent half my life in a trailer park with WHITE TRASH...I come from 1/2 humble 1/2 rich and its confusing as a kid.

  • @willeng84 It takes a LOT of know-how to drop trousers with a drunken bitch. The WORLD salutes you and your possible bastard offspring. Seriously, your world is about to become a LOT more competitive and REAL as the world's ACTUAL hard working and brilliant make global moves and your "American bright/rich" delusion is buried (even moreso than it is now). I'm saying that the WORLD is tougher and brighter than what you imagine it is...that they'll OUT-COMPETE you. I'm there? You?

  • @willeng84 Nah, you're some nouveau-riche 70's or 80's kid who still imagines that the sugar you sucked from your Mom's teat will be enough to get you through life and U.S. connections and/or slimy local government deals will keep you going. You "deserve" it all, right...you're not a leech...? Not for long, not forever. A trailer park here in China is literally a trailer, shit-tons of traffic and pollution and people trying to beat you down, and no fucking park.

  • @newguy33X No more like a big ass southern fed white boy thats as gritty and grimy as you could imagine...You think you make it without putting your hands on some little bitch like you? NOPE, I have backhanded lawyers kids for talking sideways around me like they are slick. I don't fuck with pussies or bullshit, I gave you credit but your just a fucking bum that enjoys watching CARTOONS and wasting peoples time, I will buy your mothers home, burn it and piss on the ashes, whats the address

  • @newguy33X Bitch you wouldn't want to be in the same fucking room as me. I am def. not the average idiot and I def. WILL put my hands all over a motherfucker and STRONG ARM ANYTHING I WANT/NEED. THATS FUCKING AMERICAN! You know anyone like that, I bet they don't watch Gargoyles all day long, NOTHING IS CHANGING, IM GETTING RICHER...RIGHT NOW....When I was 16 I made calls that produced almost a million dollars profit, you think I am hurting? I'm 27 and killing it.

  • @willeng84 Man, you're (not "your") cutting into my cartoon time with the bad grammar that I have to correct you on. I was not aware that so many Titans of industry hung around arguing with me on youtube. I an getting a real-world education, for sure. Go back to "killing it" please, for my financial situation is defined by the U.S. as I am a heavy investo.....lol. I can't keep a straight face or even typing finger on that one!

  • @newguy33X 1. its sunday...STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED...But you knew that..Also b/c I work with stock and such I WORK AT HOME ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Get used to it, when your at work I am getting some pussy. OR just slapping a little bitch around like you for a few $.

  • @willeng84 I was trying to follow this conversation to figure out what you two children are arguing about... then i got down to this post

"you wouldn't want to be in the same room as me.." all I can say is, you're damn right about that. Grow up please.

  • @newguy33X As an adult I SWORE to myself that when MY children look back they say,"I couldn't fathom doing that much business but thank god he was the man" You know who I can say that about, my grandfather...He was THE definition of GREAT american business man. Stacking money does COME fast and it STAYS too when your a GENIUS. Okay at 16 I said put ANYTHING YOU HAVE in haliburton stocks, they were 16 a share at that point, within 3 years we were at war and 59 a share...16 I made that money...

  • @willeng84 So, your Grandfather...off the backs of oppressed (legally, but not really Americans) black Americans, and you (off of white...how dare you?...and more American's lives...fucking Haliburton...). How many poor American soldiers drank shit water because it was cheaper to NOT really disinfect/purify it? Evil/bullshit is always very profitable. Many American families are EVEN moreso rich off of black oppression/ignorance and/or the war of 1812, the world wars, etc.

  • @willeng84 I hope you wake one day to have parasites, bacteria, etc. in your water and nowhere to turn except an underfunded military doctor...

  • @newguy33X I won't im RICH, You however I will fuck your mother.

  • @willeng84 Yeah, a lot of rich illiterates go after my randomly situated, menopausal mother these days...it's like a fetish with bullshitters on youtube, er, I mean, REAL, RICH, BIG MEN-WHO RUN THE WORLD TYPES...

  • @newguy33X If you saw me you would wish you were me, hell maybe rub shoulders with the kid you'll probably win the loto next week.

  • @newguy33X I also have made about 100 predictions of business and locations and literally 90% of the time it's the EXACT business and is KILLING... I am a visionary, what America lacks now a days but I am disillusioned by how fucked the system is. Our police are violent killers. Our Dr.'s have EVERYONE addicted to opiates and Benzo's. Its all a trap house to them, open a methadone clinic and lets get it...I don't like that shit. I am not down with selling lives for money THATS why I hate the U.S

  • @newguy33X look man, I respect your thoughts and you obviously can make an argument. I live in the U.S. and I do not like it.....There is no money to be made by the middle class and your twice as likely to make it ILLEGALLY on the black market sadly either selling pot or pills. THAT IS A FACT WHERE I AM FROM...No jobs, my ex girlfriend has her MBA and serves fucking tables. Its just sad.

  • Well spoken truth. by Dr. Michio Kaku. The NWO Neo Cons are only good, to mime, enslave, & destroy. That is the reason why they are trying to dumb down and indoctrinate kids. The names of some of this monsters are. Bush, Cheney, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Kristol, Brzezinski, Wolfovitz, Greenspan, Bernanke, Clinton, Kissinger, etc. This people are Murderers who rule only by Fear, War, Terror, & Destruction! Remove them and we remove the root of all evil. Send them to an island just like Napoleon.

  • @ObeeLektro At some point the powerful of the U.S. switched over to "Let's just sell crap to these people and get richer" and who's to blame? Internet, decent (trust me, even the poor of the U.S, have it pretty good globally) education...and still people turn on sports, faux news, buy sneakers instead of books...it's easy to bilk the ignorant masses, it's natural on all sides.

  • We need dynamic positive teachers that encourage reasoning and thinking. When the student starts reasoning about ANYTHING the teacher would start explaining to the student what they are doing and how that can be applied to other situations. Once that is learned they can start focusing on knowledge and since the students understand reasoning they can eventually figure out why things are such. That would give the students self-confidence and promote independent thinking.

  • @blkcpdconure Isn't the U.S. about personal initiative? Teachers aren't an extension of student's brains, motivations, etc. Students "should" be hungry to learn, but almost WANT to be distracted, shiftless, etc. The idiom of "you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink" has been changed to "you HAVE to take a horse to water, and HOLD ITS HEAD UNDER WATER UNTIL IT DRINKS THE RIGHT AMOUNT".

  • @newguy33X I'll explain this to you using your horse water analogy. I assume you are attacking me because I said I would sleep in a lot of my classes.

There is a group of 25 horses(students) and 1 rancher(teacher). The horses are thirsty so the rancher brings them to the water. Immediately one horse walks up to the water and drinks the necessary amount of water on its own. But the rancher has to explain to the 24 other horses how to drink.........

  • @newguy33X Once that has been explained they need to know why they need to drink. Once that is learned they will start to drink but many will stop to ask how much they should drink. It is explained that they should drink to the point where they are no longer thirsty. While all that is going on the 1 horse that figured everything out right away is very bored and starts goofing around................

  • @newguy33X The rancher then notices the one horse goofing around due to boredom and yells at him and tells him to pay attention or he will never know how to drink water and why he needs to drink water. But the other horses saw the one horse drink right away and start to feel animosity towards him because they think he thinks he is better than them because he didn't really need to be taught. From that point on that 1 horse is marked and hated by horses and ranchers...........

  • @newguy33X that feel he is trying to be better than them because they themselves feel inferior around him because he couldn't possibly be more intelligent than them because he isn't getting straight A's. So then that horse is considered a trouble maker all because he could think so much faster than the others and had time to get bored in class.

I'm not bitter about this at all. I'm just explaining things from a perspective that most will never see.

  • @blkcpdconure Do you know how much some Chinese parents will go without to get A teacher for their children? They will go WITHOUT FOOD for it...and then they won't be tearing down the doors when a teacher pats the student on the shoulder (ASSAULT! ASSAULT! in the U.S.) or even pulls and ear to wake a student up. They will BACK UP a teacher, as an almost substitute parent whose normal intuition isn't brought into question by blood-sucking lawyers.

  • The public school system turned me away from schooling. I pretty much slept through all my classes due to boredom. I think it is hilarious when someone says someone is a genius for getting a 4.0 and because my gpa was much lower I'm an idiot. I'm so dumb that I have scored off the charts on every intelligence and aptitude test I have taken.

The public school system is ostracizing the exceptionally gifted students and rewarding the average students. Ridiculous.

  • @blkcpdconure But, but, ...self esteem....:)

  • @newguy33X You nailed it. That is exactly what I'm talking about when I say the exceptionally gifted are ostracized. You described it perfectly.

  • I'm not sure I agree with Dr. Michio, but the rebuttal(?) made my brain hurt.

  • the educational system is just a tiny facet, what about the chemical lobotomies and sterilizations? dont expect kaku to warn you that we are regularly bombarded with neurotoxins in everything processed: fluoride, lead, mercury, silver, aluminium, aspartame, msg, gmo maize/soya, etc, and the government relies on immigration to keep the official population numbers and birth rates looking normal

  • @kensei85 Good point, You're spot on........now I've got to get back to Dancing With the Stars and the rest of my TV "programming". Which is why they call it programming. How fast do you think civilization would unravel if the internet and TV collasped? Our kids don't have a clue how to think on their own any more. Private school is looking better and better for my two boys.

  • @manofreedom media, education, corporations, banking and the military and legal systems of government are all tied together in a wicked web of deceit, like how americans feared in the 50's, it has many names, fascism, communism, despotism, either way it's tyranny, run by an 'elite' opposed to justice and democracy. I fear we are heading into an era of total domination as they become desperate to maintain control. When the microchips are enforced, it's game over: watch?v=wnyi-5S16Xk

  • kaku is full of shit, he only ever talks half-truths.

  • The "stupid" index is being risen purposely. It's easier for a Govt to control uneducated, brainwashed, downtrodden people. The last thing the ruling class want are smart, educated ppl who know their rights and will fight for their slice of the damn pie. Public schools produce people getting trapped in debt at a low paying job they HAVE to keep. They're dumbing you down on purpose. Its all abt control. Whats funny is people r so brainwashed they actually defend the very system enslaving them.

  • you know i always do my best in school and get good grades, my be its not the school but what kids are distracted by, most of American kids are over privileged and don't realize it and have all this stuff like having video games or phones and we don't appreciated the education that is given for free unlike other countries like India were kids want to learn because most don't have these things, like they only get 2 hours of power a day to conserve on energy. Its not necessarily the schools' fault

  • The great Michio kills it once again... He's the man.

  • I totally agree with the second speaker, and I have experience with what he is saying. Our educational institutions are often distorted away from home-growing talent and only want to foster research with those who have already reached research maturity. This is so dangerous and perverted if you want to have any future talent from this country. Universities have gotten so far from being places that care about producing new talent.

  • We are so stupid as to make others stupid.

Michio gives me hope for the species. Good luck guys!

  • I used to not like michio that much now i love the guy

  • i wana see the stupid morons party and try to watch tv, when shit hits the fan and there on the streets asking them self wtf happened my fun life is over so fast.

  • the goverment doesn't want you to understand these subjects well or you will get to smart, the key is to make the ppl feel like there the ones not wanting to learn, the give the students so much distractions that they dont focus on the really interesting subjects, plus the teachers really dont care, all they care about is there salary not the future of the next Gen. People in this day in age till the age 25 or more all they care about is partying, stupid reality shows and drama life.

  • Anyone who likes listening to thi guy is a moron..

  • @hate135 Well you commenting in this video shows you listened to him and therefore you're a moron.

  • Sorry, it is past midnight and I meant to write "revered" not "reversed".

  • The Sciences and those that practice and thrive on these subjects are not reversed enough in this country. They should be the heroes and role models we look up to NOT movie stars and athletes. Dr. Michio Kaku, you are one of my heroes and your passionate response was well received and understood by me and I am sure many others

  • Anyway on for the joke...we had a joke at UCLA regarding foreign students.

"What are the prerequisites for Math 32B?"

    "Math 32A and Mandarin 6."

The explanation was that it's the teaching assistants (grad students) who really teach you how to solve the problems, and nearly all of the Math grad students were Chinese.

  • 2:43 he's like, "Damn right."

  • i have been reading, listening, and watching Michio Kaku for 5 years now and can with confidence proclaim him as ont of themost intelligent men on our planet today!!

  • All of this technology has existed before and is in the hands of the thieves.

  • Yup

  • Like Joe Rogan said "1+1=2, now go get a job". Thats our educational system. Creativity (our NATURAL way of expessing life) is sucked out of kids by the fourth grade. The educational system in America is nothing more than a corporatetraining ground. It teaches you NOTHING about life and teaches you everything on how to be a good corporate slave. If you're deep in the hive then you just accept this and move on thinking the system is good because that's what you were TOLD. Think for yourself.

  • America Rules !!!

  • Dr. Michio Kaku shows some passion for the USA. Everything he just said is 100% spot on the truth, america has the worst education system and it likes it that way because the fools keep electing republicans who send their jobs out to china but the dumb people dont care as long as they get cheap stuff from walmart... Dr. Michio Kaku is a legend!

  • @3wmaccess Actually you have it completely backwards. I hope you are being sarcastic.

  • Nice pink socks LOL

  • Stupid americunts all of you are ingnorant like a pork

  • @martinobenigni i am not an american. but this comment is only rude, agressiv and unproductiv criticism....r u american?

  • OMG that monkey on his left hand. Eeeek who cares what HE thinks?

  • Article, Earth Policy Institute, Plan B Updates, regarding China:

"Over the last several years, thousands of children living near lead mines, smelters, and battery plants have been poisoned. Deadly at excessive levels, lead in the blood is considered unsafe in any amount. Exposure can impair cognitive and nervous system development, stunt growth, hamper learning, and depress IQ. "

  • Comment removed

  • emp (electro magnetic pulse) directional beam weapons varying degrees of effectiveness inc.. stun right through to stroke and major coronary without a projectile. science fiction ? SCIENCE FACT !!! kaku is still a nwo science puppet.

  • @wishfix what he fuck are you talking about?

  • I'll bet the same ones who claim "there just aren't enough well-educated people in the US, so we need to look outside the country for our big brains", also are intimately involved in reducing the American system of higher ed to nothing more than a method of prepping the kids of rich people to fake their way into a cushy job.

  • Michio really needs to find employment...instead of constantly waxing poetically about all sorts of bizare shit...

  • I was expelled from a USA university for speaking out against the dull and useless (expensive) classes forced upon us. Students are too apathetic to step up and tell these quackademics to get out of the way and start educating us rather than handing out diplomas that are nothing but work passes for job a little better than McDonald's. The NWO wants to dumb down people and the best way is to KILL our curiosity, which seems to be the primary goal of U.S. public education.

  • BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!....i share the same frustration towards our educational system...im at my last year and high-school and i just feel like my last few years have been WASTTEEDDDD at school...and i believe there is knowledge hidden from us.....the Government only "teach" us what they want us to learn....and the truth it is....ITS ALL A BUNCH OF GARBAGE!!!....TEACH US THE TRUTH!!!.....

  • @HarryPNus Search and you will find the truth. Don't let the quackademics control your future.

  • Both sides make VERY VALID points.

  • what is the difference between a kid with Attention deficit disorder and an enabled spoiled brat? YOUR kid has Attention Deficit disorder and everyone elses are spoiled brats. i live in TEXAS where IGNORANCE is considered a VIRTUE. A LARGE percentage of the texans confidently believe Global Climate Change is a complete hoax yet they cannot identify 3 different cloud types much less know anything about the Thermohaline or its effects. so how are they so sure of thier claims? IDIOTS

  • "Our Graduates compete at the level of third world countries"

Oh my God, I need to meet him this sir in person, because I completely agree with him.

I'm from El Salvador and when I first came to the US what I first noticed was that the school system was better in my country, and I was just a kid...It was so obvious to notice.

I've met people from other countries, smart people, like from Somali, Ghana, Kenia, Nepal, I realized they came very well educated.

  • The problem with America is we can't work together. College people in the office,

technical schooled on the floor. Ex-military and ex-addicts in management running

the company like a war zone. While the college kids are having sex in the office.

  • We perpetuate the belief that being dumb is funny. "i donno what this shit means, fuck it, LOL" we don't have enough people demanding excellence out of children

  • i have to say highschool did not prepare me well enough for college chemistry classes. I have to take 4 chemistry classes in college because I am a biology major, and I (along with many of the students in my class) feel like it is difficult and advanced as hell, which compared to the rest of the world , doubt it really is. In highschool I only had to 1 chemistry class, which was reallly poor basic stuff, compared to college.

  • @420simpson

Yep, college is a real eye opner, I felt like throwing my textbook across the room and dropping out many times, lol.

  • @420simpson You wouldn't want to see what's on the chalk board in my Chinese kid's class from their Chinese teachers...math using Greek symbols I didn't know were used in math, chemical reactions most westerners hit in second year chem classes. These kids are bilingual, fluent with math, physics, and chemistry, etc. by grade 10...their grade 8 stuff that's kicking around is university level in north america.

  • @420simpson if not trilingual or more...in chinese dialects that dozens of millions of people in China speak (5 big main languages in Shanghai alone..then Nanjingese, Cantonese, standard Mandarin...)...and yet they can be stymied by the oddest little things...

  • also note that fatherlessness among emerging economies such as china and india do not have high rates of fatherlessness. I offer this as evidence that fatherlessness can only mean national decline.

  • our educational system is crippled by the social ramifications of evolving beliefs regarding the (un)importance of fathers in society. The nature and meaning of fatherhood is in question, and the topic is poorly addressed. The result that the true cause of the social problems facing this country (fatherlessness) goes unmentioned and unremediated. Bring dads back and find ways to promote the initiation of boys into manhood so that the family unit can be rebuilt. To ignore is to face disaster...

  • Dr. Michio Kaku for president usa usa usa usa usa

  • Bullshit

  • Let the world be intellent too, so long as America runs it. That is like back in the ancient days, people were jealous of the Greek wisdom and in Virgil's Aeneid the God say's something like, I'm paraphrasing, "Let the Greeks have their wisdom but you Roman, you will have the power to govern." America inspires, America creates, America unites the world. God Bless the U.S. of America!!

  • @noledgewise1 Sorry but I personally would rather die than agree with your statement.

  • @almoststewy2

Intellegent my bad... anyways, America is a super power for a reason. God is Americano just like on Watchmen and the world is pissed that they can compete but it's not suppose to be a competion, we humans are suppose to help those in need but countries need to put an effort to climb out of the primitive past, like Mexico. 3rd worlds need to listen up, hustle up and adapt. I welcome smart people learning alittle here but heiping out their own countrymen.

  • @noledgewise1 No not at all.

  • I loathed school and flunked many subjects, barely passed others. I am now a huge hobby fan of physics, biology, and chemistry. Where is the bigger story, the infectious enthusiasm for subject matter from teachers? Kids are fed bland information, and assumed too young for the wide view picture of what they're studing. My poor results led teachers to actually calling me a joke. I had my test thrown at me once.

I feel sad for those whose passion for learning didn't survive the education system.

  • @Yalf111 i completely agree with you bro, it wasn't until my senior year that i developed an interest in political science and history because i was flunking out of economy and a couple of other classes lmao, i was a slicker and thought the wold was perfect as it was. i studied hard dude you have no idea. but what i learned in those 2 months was enough to set off that spark of political interest. 3 years later im an Anarcho-Comunist/Primitivist, EZLN enthusiast and Amateur Revolutionary Theorist

  • @Yalf111 Congratulations, the system meant to kill your curiosity didn't succeed with you. You passed by failing their culling out process. You have my respect.

  • @Yalf111 You are so undeniably, beautifully right.

  • @Yalf111 You, me and most of the other intelligent "square pegs". We grew up driving forklift or managing McBurgers. We should be building the smart grid, melting down the crappy cars that we are still making, or watching the third manned Mars landing.

Disappointing! Instead, we are watching greedy politicians and bankers pretend to fight over what used to be our money. Money that in part, should have been used to support the education system.

  • @Yalf111 I completely agree. We need to take the 'rite of passage' out of the education system. Eliminate graduation of high school AND college. Education should be a life long process and if so desired we could mark achievements in subjects more frequently and as small changes are made. This way people could show proof they are learning and growing their whole lives. It could be sort of like... a level system...

  • @Yalf111 If students were told "here's a natural phenomena, we're going to try to understand it, and here's mathematics required to describe it" at least you'd know what the hell you were doing and why.

None of this knowledge was developed in a vacuum anyway. People developed techniques as they were needed to solve real problems (often, at least). Why not teach the historical profession that lead to our current understanding? People are naturally disposed to understanding narratives.

  • @aluisious Yes. Absolutely true. Too many schools are cut off from context. That was my largest obstacle in school. Also kids learn much better within play. When the teaching atmosphere is positive, relaxed, and when kids are encouraged with kind words and feelings. Often teachers are angry and they transmit this angry feeling to the kids who in turn feel rejected.

  • @Yalf111 ...understanding narratives much better than aimless conglomerations of facts.

  • @Yalf111 Oh, yes, thank you so much for saying this. Absolutely true about the teaching materials and the way it is taught. Kids are overwhelmed with so many things at once. And particularly here in the USA kids are taught totally contradictory things, this has to do with the breach of separation of church and state, with Christian right pushing into government and education, with the merger of church and corporatism. Broadcasting media are geared towards anti education.

  • Hum I bet this dude has knowledge of the diabolical plan set up for the Global/International Education system--> YEP. Agenda 21 from UN get together in 1992 and our Pres. Bush Sr.1* (???Schreff Jr.--boy spy for hitler??? think on this<- during our genius Testa years <--research that family tree huh??) 1*.was out representative for the USA. Go figure all the problems; the education system infiltrated by the dumb-bug slipping in their control so coyly; WOW. RESEARCH. Don't take my word.

  • What the second guy said is completely irrelevant to what the first guy said.

  • We all know that an intelligent person who is able to think freely for themselves is much much MUCH less likely to do something like risk their life and their future by volunteering to join the army, so why educate ALL the kids? Make them feel dumb and useless and they're more likely to enlist. It's nothing personal, it's just business.

  • gefro needs to shut the fuck up

  • h1b what does it look???

  • Painfully he is right.

  • Hey thanks for keeping me out of school guys... you'll never get your prezzies now

  • The reason immigrants with H1B visas are filling all these engineering, tech and scientific jobs is that they're willing to work for minimum wage or less. I personally know dozens of people, some with PhD's, with decades of experience, who cannot get work -- who used to make $100K but can't get work paying $40K, because that's too much money.

  • This is the first time ive heard michio in an aggressive tone lol love how he adjusts his flap at 2:41 all like "That's right bitch, now shut your dumb ass up"

  • When Michio wasnt speaking all I could hear was "blah blah blah" in addition with suggestive hand movements which attempted to convey the illusion that there was a legitimate point being made.

  • As racist as this sounds it is the truth. America has had to dumb down our high school education system inorder to accommodate certain minority populations that live here, namely the blacks and mexicans. Mostly the blacks. We've had to do this or else we would have massive amounts of these people failing high school and unable to get even the simplest of jobs.

  • @neurogenica people cant handle statistics, why should they acknowledge them, no personal gain in it for minorities. those voting masses want to be coddled and its a best way to homogonize the american workforce that might have snowballs chance in hell of keeping shit right. IMO its why corporations want to flood them in as much as possible. hell i could see it if it was my proffiteering game.

  • if you take the common sense out of science there's no prosperity coming from scientific research. ask all those dumb universities spending millions on studies like "which kind of junk food rats prefere" or "will your sex life improve if you dye your pubic hair?"

  • Thanks to the H-1B I went to harvard.... xD and then the MIT... I'm back to my homecountry in south america. =P

  • @juatomorgan just curious whats the minimum wage there and are you planning to pay back your student loans to the USA (if thats the case, or was it all paid by the USA)? if you didnt would your govt punish you some how or just let you get away with it?

  • @juatomorgan I don't blame you. Anyone would take that chance if they could, don't let them lie to you. Congrats, you deserve it

  • He is right the school system in america is the problem, and Presidents & politicians like the socialist Obama are the problem they keep throwing money at failing school systems as if money could solve the problem. the problem is the US is turning into a giant nanny state, the Government is destroying intensive turning Americans into weaklings who depend on the government to wipe their asses. like the guy on judge judy "this is who we are supporting with taxes"

  • do a quick google search on "Leading Cause of Death in China":

reports from the countryside reveal a dangerous epidemic of “cancer villages” linked to pollution from some of the very industries propelling China’s explosive economy. By pursuing economic growth above all else, China is sacrificing the health of its people, ultimately risking future prosperity.

  • What does a silicon valley in China have to do with prosperity for American Middle Class workers? Why on earth are you cheering the competition?

  • @cycophile oh babe you dont get it do you. must be yr education system in usa thats failed you

  • @subbtopp haha ok ive done nothing but tech jobs my whole life, laid off, now training to become an engineer, probably wont do alot of good vs. this shit. the highschool I went to was phenominal, I cant say the same for poor areas, and dont argue that a point on that issue is reinforcd with this video. but it is far from the reason american manufacturing is loosing out. i would love a fair and free world but its not the case, its fucked up.

  • michio kaku like a boss

  • Wake up and smell the coffee, Ain't no tax breaks alive that's going to entice American jobs back to the states...The Genie is out of his bottle and he ain't going back in. Corporations could care less.

  • Some americans are so donkeys, they think that USA is a country only maded by descendants of England, and forgot about the indians who lived before, the spanish, the french, portugueses, so think better, what the hell are you talking about, you dont own the land, i live there!! Like the so called imigrants dumb ass, ur the worst imigrants, killed a lot of indians to get their land, and now tell that is your land. Wtf r u talking about?

  • Going back to India you say..That is the biggest crock of BS I've heard yet.

When was the last time you visited Silicon Valley dude?..There's now so many East Indians living here one would think they landed in Mumbai by mistake. Truth hurts on this one.

You'd be hard up to find any apartment complex that's not filled to the max with these workers, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Fremont, Pal Alto, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino. It's called anchor baby dude..and its hot.

  • @MrAac2020 He didn't say they were all gone back to India, just some, but that was a trend he'd like to see stop.

Not that I really care, but what's certain is that the school system in the USA needs improving. If you threw out all the foreigners working in Silicon Valley, you couldn't replace them all with competent staff. The US education system is abysmal, if you want more Americans taking up these jobs then fix the school system.
