91-92 bodystyle. 91 from the pillars being black. 91-93's came with either an LO5 5.7 or LO3 5.0 motor both v8 TBI. Actually in 91-93 there was also a v6 that came out but it's super rare and only found in taxi cabs. My favorite caprice because of the skirts. 93 skirts were removed but TBI motor stayed. 94-96 had L99 or LT1. 94 has same bodystyle as 93 and badging on the LTZ changed to the LS.

@9c1 I like the ones with the skirts as well, but a LT1 (or a L99) would be nice to have in my 91! I didnt know they made these for cabs with V6! is it the 4.3 TBI?

Its a '91. The easiest way to tell a '91 from a '92 is that the '91s had black roof pillars; the '92s were body-colored

my 94 caprice classic has a lt1 in it... so wtf r you talking about ?

This is true. But his wheel well is half covered in the back, this would mean it's older than a 94, and might not have the Gen II series LTx...

The LT1 Engine was available only on the 1994-1996 Impala SS/Caprice, Caprice Wagon, Roadmaster, Firebird, Fleetwood lac, Camaro and da Vette'. Most 9c1's have it. I've seen some 9c1's have 4.3 l99's. I bought my 94 9c1 at a police auction with 80,XXX miles, I got 154,XXX and its still going strong.

I got a question. Does Caprice 91-93 exsist with Lti engine. And if so is there any difference. And are you able to buy one the them anywhere. The 9C1 model cars must be limit right??. I would appreciate the one who gives me a good answer. Through. Is there any difference between Caprice Lti 91-93 and 94-96?? Is there any differences at all.???

probably a 91 through 92. though the 93's still used LO3's and LO5's they looked like 94s through 96s.

Yes its a '91 because the side window frames were black and compared to '92 where they were the same color as the paint job

and don't forget the fender skirts. They were on the '92's as well they came off in '93 and '94-'96

were the LT1's electronic transmission police package. the '91-'93 had the hydraulicked LT1 police package.

91 9c1 has 250 throttle with a lil punch not lt1..lt1s only came 94-up camaro,(caprice some)94-96 fleetwoods,impalas 94-96 roadmasters 94-96
