  • He's the best pitcher in the game. He was so underrated in Toronto, probably because they weren't as good of a team back then. Now that he's in Philly, he's getting the recognition he deserves!

  • @PhreshPhillies "So underrated"? He won Cy Young, All-Stars, and was considered one of the best pitchers in the AL. How could that be "underrated"

  • @JodyJody90 Earlier in his career before all of those awards. Nobody knew what to expect from him. He deserves a ring, and I think he'll get one with Philly.

  • and Philly has him!!!!

  • Justin Verlander best pitcher in the MLB!

  • @linc10100 no

  • Hey guys if you play baseball or follow baseball please join "Baseball Players Unite". It's a page where we will ask baseball related questions such as what's your best strike out pitch. Then we can see other people's opinions. Please help unite as many people as we can because the more people the better. If you help alot you could be put as a admin. Thanks.

  • One of the best pitchers out there

  • Thanks Toronto! ; )

  • We love him here in Philly! I swear we are taking good care of him, Jays fans! I would be sad to lose him too, if I were you guys.

  • the blue jays would be one of the best teams in the mlb right now if they still had this guy

  • LOOK UP PERRINE BASEBALL ADRIEN#24

  • htf does that ball go so fast

  • @Yamahaphone He only throws about 92-93 haha

  • @Yamahaphone Yeah I know but like the effort that it appears he's putting into it is so little compared to how fast it's going... haha gorgeous mechanics.

  • Best pitcher in mlb hands down

  • home video

  • @kalehockey

philies fan are punks. eveing with Halladay and Lee thats does not mean your best team.

  • @starman60200 No, but it does mean best starting rotation.

  • @kalehockey soooo, because I wanted to thank the Blue Jays (and now the Rangers) for giving us a great pitcher personally, that makes me a douche bag?

    Ok, cool, thanks :'(

  • phillapelphia fans are dicks but i am glad for halladay

  • No hitter

    Bitch

  • @fordgtrocks1579 lol Hell yea :D Good thing he's finally off that shit team, and I''m a Rangers fan :P Smashin on them Rays >:)

  • Conewell go to fucking hell bitch

  • Red October bitch

  • now hes our hahahh yes go phillies!

  • i love his delivery

  • He´s throwing Cutters not sliders ;)

    nice video

  • I'm gonna send the Blue Jays a nice fruitbasket

  • @dancagurli Actually, never mind the fruit. Send me some real Phillysteaks, please. Never thought I'd say this, Go Phillies! I guess we owed you guys one. Signed, Bitter Jays fan.

  • @wrobinson7 I stand corrected: I'm gonna send the Blue Jays a basket full of Phillysteaks ;)

  • @dancagurli Thanks, that's the least you could do. And I mean it, good luck Phillies!

  • @wrobinson7 Thanks man. :) *hugs*

  • Roy had the bad luck to pitch a perfect game in front of baseball's worst fans.

  • This sucked I love the marlins and that's his 2-seam fastbal

  • Nice perfect game =D

  • I really don't it's fare how much he is being used, with my hometown's team, the Phillies. He is carrying the team and they have him pitching full games to compensate for the lack of pitching help! it's not cool and he can get injured doing this over working. Ryan Howard (who isn't the most hospitable kind, in person), gets this large contract signing, but isn't producing...lol...just like Brand from the sixers

  • @RaceIsOpen

Roy Halladay is the best conditioned pitcher in all of baseball. They arent about to take him out if they can help it.

  • @RaceIsOpen

Howard carried this team with his run production he's why this team won in 08 and got to the series in 09..only Puljos is a better 1st baseman in mlb & wait til you see his contract. if you followed baseball much you would know Halladay has pitched many complete games his entire career and it didnt look like those deep pitch counts mattered to him getting that perfect game. & DONT EVER COMPARE ELTON BRAND TO RYAN HOWARD that alone should tell you how much you dont know about sports

  • damn! im gonna miss roy...the blue jays will never be the same.

  • @haroldcairns same man the frist time i saw him pitch baseball got even better for me!

  • haha hes bringing that beauty to philly baby!

  • This is so weird man he's gone at 1st I was like ahh whatever but I mean it's gonna be so weird not seeing in a jays uniform ugh he's a gem te best I blame rochardi for building the team so poorly

    Good luck in Philly Roy

  • WELCOME TO PHILLY!!!!!!!

  • awesome seats

  • much respect to roy holloday

  • Halladay is actually probably one of the most consistent pitchers out there. He just had a bad groin injury, and you could tell the time off really put him out of his schedule.

  • Roy Halladay is a good pitcher johan santana is good but this is one of those down yeara where he's not as good. Tim lincecum is as well a great pitcher overhand delivery fastball reaches 100 rarely slider changeup etc. However Roy halladay would be better off with a team that makes it to the playoffs everyear. But who's taking him? Yankees can deal but where are they puitting gim they're pitching is good but joba is not playing well and some stupid rules forbid him to go more than 3 innings?

  • What I don't like about Halladay. Right about now, he isn;t very consestent. When he good, nothing bad ganna happen, and the Jays will mostlikely win. But he isn't doing too well......well thats another story. But I think he is the best pitcher in the AL, if not the MLB, if not the world today

  • I think Halladay is goood

  • i think if halla day was on a better team he would have way more wins in a season

  • If Halladay was on a better team, he would probably win Cy Young every year. But no one loves him more than us Jays fans.

  • @Shintalka as a phils fan, i believe thats true. You guys showed doc alot of respect when he was with you guys, and i can tell he definitely respected the fans of toronto.

  • the yankees represent the whole state of nj

  • roy halladay will represent nj to be a yankee

  • He will be wearing red pinstripes by Friday!!! woohoo!! A Phillie dream!!!

  • the dodgers are not gunna give up Kershaw or Billinglsley to get him

  • hes gonna represent nj hes going to the yankees

  • hahaha.. no

  • halladay is not going to any al east team. he's probably going to the phillies, or dodgers.

  • Same thing i said...if he goes to the dodgers he has manny and the gang...he'll be good in there

  • hes gonna represent nj and ny, come to the yankees halladay!

  • now cliff lee represents nj bitch! lol atleast south jersey

  • yankees represent all of nj

  • no they may have fans scattered across the country but the south half of new jersey is phillies country sir

  • no i went to exit 5 and 6, 7 off the nj turnpike thats yankee country

  • i suppose your from north jersey? down here almost everyone is a phillies fan with the occasional non phillie fan

  • noo i went to mount holly burlington pemberton jackson nj next to six flags they are all yankee fans

  • what are you on man?

  • boston stop being stupid and holding on to buchholz and bard trade them for doc!!!

  • Hallady come to the Philles and get a world series ring

  • he has a trade deadline of july 27th i think

  • come on halladay represent new jersey and new york GO to the yankees

  • yankees have garbage prospects, keep dreaming dickheads. if hes going anywhere it will be to philly. then u moron yankees fans can watch the phillies win back to back world titles

  • fuck u, yankees are the best team in the league besides dodgers.. were going to "buy" him after next season in free agency

  • I don't think he's going anywhere and certainly not to the Yankees for the garbage that you just mentioned below.

  • goin to the yanks, if the mets get him, who goin to score for him??

  • he is a yankee soon

  • Not trying to be offensive to any Yankee fans...But dont you notice that Yankees have like all arms? o.O I mean Sabathia, Burnett, Chamberlain, Wang, Pettite, And Hughes.... I dont think they need another starter...cause they have so many starters atm. Also...I dont think it'd be right to have Halladay as a Reliever??! Yeah...Just putting my thoughts out there.

  • we need a 5th starter... he wouldnt go to the bullpen.. we should trade Ian kennedy , chien mine wang , and a prospect and some money for him. starting rotation-

roy , cc , aj ,joba, petite,

  • goodluck, any deal to New York starts with Phil Hughes and Jesus Montero and ends with significant cash or you take Vernon Wells with him.

  • yeah cause toronto would take that?? a washed up asian with an era of 11 and a decent prospect for the best pitcher in baseball?? i dont think so

  • yea, but blue jays cant afford him.. yanks could pay him double the money

  • Sheesh, it looks fake. He is so underrated. Real baseball fans know who he is and how damn good he is. He has a flawless delivery, effortless you can say. He throws NOTHING straight but he doesn't walk anybody. Just pure filth.

  • HE IS GOING TO BE A YANKEE

  • Blue Jays should just keep him. No matter what they end up getting back if they do wind up dealing him, it won't be considered equal value.

  • Most likey, Halladay will stay with the Jays. 1) he wants to win but also loves the Jays. 2) they were not looking to trade him more say but just to see whats out there. Besides the Yankees already pulled out becuase they dont want to give up Chamberlin and Hughes. If the slight chance he is traded, its going to the National league so they won't see him much.

  • Hes Going to the YANKEES

  • Deal him to STL for Colby Rasmus, Adam Wainwright and prospects

  • Damn, that's a lot, even for Doc. Colby has raw power and Wainwright is a stud, that's a bit rich and I'm not even a Cards fan.

  • halladay SUCKS!!!!!jon lester is much better.

  • LOL... retard.

  • hes gooing to the phillies yankees are overbalenced

  • HES GOING TO THE YANKEES

  • The Phillies have more prospects to offer Toronto for Halladay.

  • fuck.. the yankees have to vs him next..

  • yanks got owned

  • lol

  • lol against Burnett of all people

  • you're a dumbass

  • baseball wasteland?!?!...hey buddy we are one of the best right now soo...

  • if you are reffering to toronto as the wasteland, your wrong. Just remember back to back in 92 and 93!

  • ya we might be in wasteland but we arent fking dum ass americans

  • the doc will throw any pitch on any count, he doesnt give a fuck. 3-1 count, pretty much every pitcher will throw a fastball. not the good ol doc.

  • I think Doc is one of the best pitchers in the Jays history. He can pitch well even if he is in a bad contidion.

  • Thats Fast!!! lol

  • The Doc is probably the best. I hate when we have to go up against him but I hate going against AJ to because he OWNS us. Yanks gotta go after AJ this offseason tho if he opts out but god I am jealous of Toronto and the way their team pitches every year. Wish I could see Doc in a Yanks uni... won't happen tho and it shouldnt Jays should lock him up for good

  • oh and as a marlin fan....aj is a .500 pitcher

  • Doc> Santana

  • ddeff true

  • I gotta say...Halladay is the best in baseball

  • win wise roy is better than Johan but its pretty close other wise with johan.

  • in texas or toronto

  • Great footage awesome!

  • Halladay is awesome but he's prety much tied with A.J Burnet. Two great Pitchers.

  • Yikes! Do you even watch baseball? A.J. Burnett can't hold a candle to Doc. Doc has better command and efficiency. Doc is consistently good, AJ is up & down

  • who got that footage!!!

  • I did. Last year at a Jays game. Just go early, relax and enjoy the Doc warming up!

  • Halladay best pitcher in the game...just injury prone, thats all

  • The Metrodome sucks. Bear Down Chicago bears.

  • LMAO! Josh Beckett over Halladay? lol Yeah Josh beckett the same pitcher that gave up 50+ homers in a year. lol

  • Nah, gotta be cut fastballs. I dont think Roy throws a slider, but I may be wrong.

  • It is a cutter. Doc doesn't have a slider. He has a cut, a 2 seam, a curve, a sinker and a palmball (change).

  • halladay is argueibly one of the best pitchers in the mlb right now, and one of the best pitchers the blue jays ever had

  • I Respect Halladay, he's one of the best but Santana is THE MASTER... Cy YOungs Talk 2-1, check the numbers... And the best is yet to come, Santana really begins after All-star Game... what pesqueman said: better than santana...? hehehe... I don't think so

  • Santana was the master at pitching against weak KC and Detroit lineups over his AL career, just look at his stats against New York and Boston and even Toronto who all hit well off Johan, and compare them to Doc who owns New York and is respectable against Boston, add to the fact Doc has a better ERA(40 points lower) with more K's, less walks and a better WHIP in a much harder league to pitch in the AL, and the best hitting division in the AL East.

    Halladay>>>>>Santana

  • Doc could easily have two Cy's. He was well on his way before he got hurt (broken leg) in 2005 (12-4, ERA under 3.00, ASG starter). If he got better RS, he'd be right in the mix this year too.

  • no ablo espanole....english?

    Halladay> Santana...

Halladay was injured. Santana was not.

  • Mejor que Santana?? Jeje, no lo creo
