  • Now I feel bad for owning the D700 and pro Nikkor lenses...because I never caught anything this beautiful :(

  • What lenses are used on the D700 in this short documentary on Portrait And Still Life Images In Los Angeles? Thank you. Stephen (D700 - Toronto)

  • Why u hold your camera like that..?

  • @NikonD6 ... Sweet, thank you so much. Initially that's the thing that kept me away from the D700 not as strong built in transmitter, thats why am reconsidering the 5DmrkII for that sole reason and get a simple radio set. However if you tell me that is not the case then am really really torn bewteen these two cameras. you will say depends on the type of photography, but i beg to differ as am sure one of these cameras has the better edge.

  • I thought the D700 has a built in flash transmitter to control other flash units!

  • @milkshakeuk

The D700 can function as a CLS master, which has its limitations. Many photographers prefer radio transmitters, because the signal is not being transmitted optically. Hence a remote flash unit could be positioned behind a wall or behind the photographer. Even an umbrella or a softbox can shield the flash from CLS signals.

  • those guys sound expensive!
