You ha e to understand however that there is an immense difference between rap and hip hop. Rap is Wacky Flocka and Rick Ross Ross. Hip Hop is Lupe Fiasco and Common. We have to be careful that we don't confuse the two. Way before hangars rap came into play there was Hip Hop. Due to certain sociological hardships a more explicit, vulgar form of Hip Hop was birthed. I would say NWA would be the cause.

Rev. Otis Moss III fails to recognize that Hip Hop degenerates, degradates devalues, and demoralizes women, especially women of color. This observation is irrefutable and should be talked about more, especially by those who are using these precious women for their own financial well being, and who view these women as mere sex objects in order to sell a product.
