i totally agree with you. i totally lost respect for him after he ruined prelude & allegro. i mean i played it better when i was like, 12 years old. he should really know where his limit is and stick to that. don't "attempt" to show off and make a big mess... and all of you who thinks i'm being harsh, i am not, it's just putting things into perspective. like i play the piano but i would never perform rachmaninov piano concerto No3 in front of a big audience! that's what he did many times!

I totally agree with you. He is a terrible violinist. I really do not know why he insists on playing the violin at his concert.Maybe that is the only way which he can impress brainless girls.His Prelude and Allegro with Lang Lang was a big insult to Lang Lang and of course, the biggest insult to the professional music industry.

You reminded me last year I watched a vid with him playing part of (he can't do the whole thing) Kreisler's infamous "Praeludium and Allegro" with Lang Lang and I kindly said that he needs some improvement, and I got mountains of hate mails because of it, most of them were from malaysia. anyways it looks like you can read Chinese so I'll write in chinese.

王力宏的小提琴拉的實在是不怎樣.別的不說光是這影片裡他連簡單­的第三把位 A 弦的 fa 音準都拉的似是而非,還企圖用很多不漂亮的抖音欲蓋彌彰.要是我­羞也羞死了.我記得他剛出道時在台灣接受綜藝節目訪問時說到他本­來是主修小提琴的後來才唱歌.怎麼才過沒幾年小提琴就從主修變成­興趣實在是令人費解.流行音樂他愛怎麼拉我不想管,可是他把好好­一首 praeludium and allegro 拉的亂七八糟我就非罵不可.這首易練不易精的曲子是幾乎所有"主­修"小提琴的學生必學的而且為了練好只怕吃了不少苦頭.王在怎麼­有天分也沒有像 heifetz or perlman 一樣,更不用說他沒有天分.王把這首經典名曲拉的鬼模鬼樣的讓人­一聽就氣,簡直是在污辱 Kreisler. 令人更不能理解的是一個號稱有絕對音感的人怎麼會連自己拉的音準­似是而非都聽不出來,還是這就是他的"絕對"音感, i.e.我拉的就一定是對 kind of pitch.我同意你的看法.這影片還是不要上傳的好免得讓人看­了一肚子氣.
