In the movie Psycho, the killer did kill a girl in the shower, by stabbing her to death, and they had the blood going into the drain, and then cutting to her eye, panning out.

Same thing here, cept its Hammering, and i think that would be shampoo of some sort, since this is a childrens show.

Final boss in KD3 is a huge "egg" with a single red eyeball that shoots blood at you. When you defeat it, it bursts open and the eye chases you while bleeding all over the place.

The final boss in K64 is the reincarnation of this creature, only this time it has the bloody stump of a wing on its side, a halo over its head and of course, a bleeding eye.

Yes. In the chained scene, Dedede is crying, and in the Psycho reference it is simply water running down the drain.

The Author recoloured the blood and water to be red.
