@TehBunnysBack how often do u work ur arms a week could be lack of rest because u use ur arms in a lot of other workouts, like back workouts ur biceps are used aswell, chest workouts triceps are used aswell. if u working your arms too much and there not getting enough rest they wont grow
You have a good base overall. You seem to have low bodyfat so you're more of an ectomorph. Judging from your routine the pushups helped develop your triceps and shoulders a lot. You have good proportionate arms but your chest is what is lacking and maybe legs but you didn't show them.
Since you're an ectomorph I would recommend you to drop the isoltaion bodybuilding routine and do more compound excersices. You need to lift strong to get bigger. Squats, Bench Press, Overhead Press etc.
workout everyday but only do 1 muscle group everyday and dont do that same muscle until a week after, pretty much making that one workout for each muscle as intense as possible
example, monday - biceps, tuesday - back and shoulders (lats included), wednesday -triceps, thursday- chest, frriday - quads(glutes recomended also to even out the look)
you dont have to do this but its an example of what i switched to and found way better

Isolation bodybuilding routines are recommended for people who already have a solid frame and well developed strength. Most beginners get nowhere with isolation exercises.
But each body is different so whatever works for you in the end is what matters.

He took supplements. He said he added Whey Protein in everything. Whey Protein makes a BIG difference in working out. That's why he's so muscular is because he used Whey.
If you're not using Whey, you won't get results like that as fast as he did. It's only 20$ per container. It's worth it. Go get some at a local Wal-Mart or something. You won't regret it. I use vanilla.
you have to be joking. whey protein is litterally the same thing as chicken, steak, fish, eggs from a protein standpoint. Its just portable and concentrated protein to make it easier to get more of it in you. The only thing that really helps you build muscle substantially faster are prohormones and steroids.
@SanAndreasExplorer vanilla is horrible omg as well as strawberry and it doesnt mix well.. use banana or chocolate, it'll still stink up your flask if u dont clean it but it will go more easily down ur throat lolz and yeah its the same as other protein, it just absorbs faster thats why we take it after training. @moveyobody he got results quickly because of a mixture of a few things. his body type and genes (being ecto-meso) allows him to build muscle easier than most and lose fat quickly. on top of good genetics, he works hard on nutrition. 75% of becoming lean depends GREATLY on nutrition. if you can't keep a clean "diet" you cannot get ripped. the reason why i quoted diet is because its not a diet, its a lifestyle change in the way you eat. lastly, stick to a weight lifting routine. have fun!

you have to be joking. whey protein is litterally the same thing as chicken, steak, fish, eggs from a protein standpoint. Its just portable and concentrated protein to make it easier to get more of it in you. The only thing that really helps you build muscle substantially faster are prohormones and steroids.

@SanAndreasExplorer vanilla is horrible omg as well as strawberry and it doesnt mix well.. use banana or chocolate, it'll still stink up your flask if u dont clean it but it will go more easily down ur throat lolz and yeah its the same as other protein, it just absorbs faster thats why we take it after training. AND BTW EVERYONE THERE IS NO WORKOUT WITHOUT THE WORK UNLESS UR NATURALLY WELL BUILT!

SECOND! Proteins are what REBUILD muscle, allowing you to work out more often, in no way does it increase mass unless there are other supplements in it such as creatine

FIRST, I don't like chocolate. I've tried it before. It sucks in MY opinion. I AM allowed to have a fucking opinion aren't I?
SECOND, if Whey Protein doesn't make you gain mass, then how come last year I was really small, but now I'm 6'0 and weigh 170? Last year I was about 5'10, 5'11 and weighed 155. Whey doesn't build mass, eh? Maybe it doesn't for YOU, but it does for me.

@moveyobody he got results quickly because of a mixture of a few things. his body type and genes (being ecto-meso) allows him to build muscle easier than most and lose fat quickly. on top of good genetics, he works hard on nutrition. 75% of becoming lean depends GREATLY on nutrition. if you can't keep a clean "diet" you cannot get ripped. the reason why i quoted diet is because its not a diet, its a lifestyle change in the way you eat. lastly, stick to a weight lifting routine. have fun!

I'm 5'10 at 160 lbs. I do everything from heavy weight lifting to long distance running. Though I'm not nearly as toned as you are. I'm trying to get to 180 pounds, I think going into Military will help me acheive that goal.

really hate people who have it in their heads that working out stunts your growth. using and building your mucles is a natural thing, if working out stunted your growth then why would humans benifit mucles? i grew 4 1/2 inches from 5'9 at the age of 16 and i worked out hard.

Those are awesome results man! The fact that you started in April and the vid was in August is pretty sick too. And definitely don't listen to all these other guys..they're prolly big but have cholesterol out the roof nd have no cardiovascular system at all. Or they cheat and take steroids...In other words..they are NOT in shape. Oh, don't go to the tanning bed..it increases skin cancer risk by like 70-80%.
