@KingTairun I like to think of it not so much as "Death Metal" but as a contrast in the overall picture of the song. Almost like an internal conflict within the story. I personally think it helps to amplify Simone's amazing voice. But we are all entitled to our opinion and I'm certainly not going to bash you for having yours. Just thought I'd give you another aspect of the music to think about.

@ChocolateThundaX yes internal conflict within the story this is common in operas, but there is deep or low mans voice (for the villain...) and here is replaced by death metal singing but this is choise of the group.
