I can get through everything but this with either of the starting chars, but I can't beat this guy, so I can't unlock Maya, which sucks =\ I can't even find video of anyone playing as Maya, so I don't even know what her powers look like =(

@NevTheDeranged Maya isn't very good. She throws this ball of energy on the ground and then pulls it back to her, hitting enemies in the process. I've beaten the game a couple times but certainly not S class ranking.

also use the default firing on the bosses .

after you beat the game you get to keep your upgrades so every time you play it ,it gets a little bit easier

the third character has a firing shield .a little bit frustrating at the beginning understanding how to execute it but a life saver in some cases

the game is a little bit harder when playing two players the bosses are a bit more resilient to your weapons

spent hours on this one trying to get all upgrades and finishing it with all 3 characters

for those of u that r stuck i recommend trying first with gun lady .her weapons last the longer

I found the best way to get past the second phase of blue orbs was to stick to the front. It goes against everything else I learned in the game, but try it and you'll see why it's extremely easy. That's just for the second part. Flat out amazing though work..I know I wouldn't be able to pull that off.

Troika shoula just used his hands to swipe the fella off the platform. Why put ur face and heart for the player to shoot? No need for the big swords also... nubcakes

hello again, we're on level 19, Troika endboss. we're having a rough time with the purple-orb phases 1 and 2. we can manage the "heart" part ok, but the part where he spits purple balls is really tough. Any comments or advice? thank you so much:-) and best of luck

there was a dude named "master cheng" or somethin' similar that had some vids showing all the safe spots from the patterns. It looks like he took all his vids down. I think he's a user on gamespot/faqs forums...

Try hanging out in the lower right or left corners, or move up to the very top.
