Controlling the arms trade will help get children out of war, as has been mentioned in previous comments. And it actually does decrease the number of casualties.

But they did bring up a legitimate point in the video - it is incredibly easy to buy a gun. Even convicted criminals can buy a gun rather easily through legal means.

The point is - as it says in the end of the video - that the arms trade is out of control. You would not allow nuclear weapons to anyone, not even to any government, would you? So what about hand grenades or bazookas to everybody who wants to buy? Would it be ok to sell AK47's like this?
