  • I'am NOT fat ... I just have a lot of Love handles so when I try on shirts it looks nice form the side but when you look at me from the back and front you see my love handles sticking out ! Ugh I hate them I cant wear anything good with them ! I HATE them so much !!!

  • this thing doesn't work for me, i'm not fat i don't have much love handles to lose. i've bben doing this 3 times a week for 1 ween now and haven't seen improvment. iìm i wasting my time???

  • This workout did wonders for my "love handles". :) That last part kills though. Ouchy. The side crunches are difficult at first too.

  • @mnr8788 Um, combined with diet and cardio, about a monthish? I didn't do it everyday, it needs to be combined with cardio, I can never stress that enough.

  • well believe me i do alot of cardio.. but the diet.. really stresses me out. so maybe might take me a bit longer..

  • Yes! This is so true; thanks for pointing it out. Don't do that exercise.

  • To put it simply, you're training your oblique muscles to pump up and stick out.

  • you do have to be careful- if you use weights that are to big it can indeed make your weight bigger but if you use lite weights it should work with cardio that is.

  • wtf man people always confusing me some say u only burn fat with cardio, some say interval training, and now this video does neither and u only do these movements to burn fat =/

  • you should combine. cardio pilates moves like these help tone the stomach and sides but they help a lot more if you combine with cardio like run job for 30 minutes before doing these excersizes

  • but jogs bore the FUCK outa me its not that i cant do jogging for 30 mins....its just after 10 mins im so boreddddd even with music i hate it so i asked someone and they sed interval training is very good as it raises ur metabolism or som shit so even wen u are at a computer you burn fat is that shit true?? because im planning on doing som 2moro morning lool

  • hi,im just telling everyone now....

    ive been doing this work out for about 3 weeks now and i can totally see the change,just another 3 weeks and ill be ready for summer so thank you fitsugar and i soo recomend this to everyone and belive me it does work it just takes some time but the finnal result is going to be fab ,once again THANK YOU FITSUGAR!!!

  • the dumbbell sidebend works like a charm! i do it slightly different though.. i hold a dumbbell in my right hand and with my left hand behind my head (like holding my hair) i bend (to the side) til the dumbbell reaches my knee.. start out doing 25 on each side/day til you can do up to 100 on each side... do this everyday for 2 weeks and notice a huge difference! i do this before i vacation and it has never failed me.. hope this helps

  • okay i did this, and when i got to the twisted crunch... i cannot do that for my LIFE!! HAHA. but overall i think this workout is effective.

    i'm 5'3 115 lbs. I feel no burn in my Abs; i do get shortness of breath though. i've never been athletic. i have some trouble balancing on the last two before the dumb bell though.

    Whats wrong?

  • the excercise at around 4:20 is ridiculous - simple physics tells us that the balance of weight makes the dumbells redundant. think about it ...

  • ya it makes it balanced if your standing in one spot, but when you lean to the side and come back with the weight is how your getting the workout..

  • hm, i don't think 4 minutes are enough? Normally i do the last exercise (with the dumbells) 30 times each side.. And the other exercise are o.k. but need more repetition........I don't believe you have a aching body after doing THIS

  • for the second exercise, i kinda felt it through my legs instead of my obliques...

  • I just followed what this lady was doin yesterday and my whole body was aching like hell today. I can't sit straight or sneeze or the pain along the muscles of my love handles would hurt like hell. I need to recuperate, maybe for 2-3 days and wait until the pain subsides only can I resume to do this regime workout religiously for 1 month. If I fail to lose my love handles I'll starve myself for 1 month.

  • Starving yourself is never a good idea. To lose weight faster, it is best to add running, swimming, or biking in addition to this workout.

  • I've exagerrated my line a bit. I won't be starving actually, just reducing carbohydrates and sugar intake and have smaller servings. I have not been following the regime shown in this video but found another one here in YouTube that's more effective for men. (The exercise featured in this video here is more suitable for ladies)I've been doing crunches with leg cycles and can really feel the abs working. Now that is one tough act to follow!

  • Also, since I was a pro swimmer, I make it a point to go for "training" at least once a week. I would like to go like 2-3 times a week but my hectic work schedule doesn't permit me to go to the pool too often. Swimming is a good exercise that conditions the whole body, that if only the person is a good swimmer doing many laps instead of doing some relaxing swims. Slow relaxing swims won't help much in body conditioning or weight reduction.

  • Yes, I figured that out. It is inevitable to feel the pain once you do it for the first time round. When one gets used to the workout, I think there shouldn't be a problem doing this everyday, maybe a couple of times in a day!

    I've not been following this routine as I have found another one that's more effective for men. Varied crunches that's more effective in shaping the ab muscles and love handles. I wouldn't recommend that to the ladies though -6 packs wouldn't look good on females.

    I've been doing this almost everyday, and the results are quite positive even after 1 week -I can see 6 packs forming. This workout really works. But i can't do it straight without taking rests in between the sets. Anyway that guy is at "advanced" level and has a high endurance level. I'm improving though.

  • Seriously, the exercise really (by Keith) really works. You really can feel your ab muscles working out, and the feeling is really great when you feel the "pain" on the ab muscles. At that point you know that the ab muscles are working. I guarantee you, if you do this correctly and feel the ab muscles "moving", you will see results in less than 1 week UNLESS you are a fat person with considerable fatty layers around your waist and stomach.
