These people are so freaking ignorant. McCain is PRO-Deregulation. He may have voted to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac once, but he has repeatedly voted for and stated that he is for deregulation. No government oversight of Banking is what led to our current financial mess.

In 2003, Bush asked for tighter regulations on Fannie and Freddie but, Barney Frank said ''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis.'' and, ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.'' Not understanding a lot about house buying can refer to plenty of non-legal lacunes. (Note that lawyers also specialise, so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't know all the possible subtleties).
His ties with Rezko seem pretty weak. It's kind of hard to be a politician and not make acquaintance with a crook or be given money.
It's not as if Obama had been bribed into doing something bad.
