Alex...all your videos are wonderful and it's really kind of you to share your experience with us all! Thank you! Wishing you all the best in all of your creative endeavors.
@princepandora88 You're welcome! Sorry, but this is pretty complex to answer to this question in one bit. In general I use Waves L3LL, Sonnox Inflator, Steven Slate VCC and other stuff. It really approach every track differently and individual. However on the demo there wasn't much masting involved. I just used a bit of limiting and compression to bring it to a "default" volume level. The mastering on all my written demos would never change the sound of a lib! :)
@2222adnan hey and thanks! I don't own and use FL studio. You can apply this concept on pretty much every sequencer and every percussion library anyway. This tutorial isn't just limited to the Tonehammer Dhol. I just used it as an example ...
Hey Alex, Love this tutorial! I was just wondering how you mesh together sounds that have different recorded reverbs. For example Im trying to use some tonehammer libraries along with EWQL RA. Since most of the sounds in RA are recorded dry, Im having a hard time mixing them with something like the Dhol which has an epic recorded reverb. Do you have any tips for this problem?
Well, if the track is huge and there is lots of stuff going on, I simply don't care too much. If the track is smaller in size of instruments I try to just find a similar reverb and EQ it a bit,
BTW: Did you try to move the ModWheel on the Dhol programs? You can reduce or raise the amount of reverb/tails.
Depends on my latency settings, yes ... usually with not much instruments going on I can set it as low as to have 3-4 ms, which I barely notice anymore.
Ronng84, trying using the asio4all sound driver, it will clear up almost all of the latency, depending on your machine. I have no delay really, maybe 20ms i don't really notice it.
hey, I think you won't find anything free which is sampled with that great detail and variety in sounds than the Tonehammer stuff. Besides that their stuff is really affortable ...
:) ;) :) he-he PERCUSSIONS :)

sounds great as always dude ! By the way, do you face any delay at the software end when hitting those keys??? I've always encountered that problem.
