No offence to Cole and Twitty but if Elvis had recorded that in studio Elvis would have the best version just listen to that voice Even this home recording is better than the original.
Hehe, i imagine. I can say everyone knows Nat King Cole's version, but that was a surprise which don't compete with the famous one. Also I strongly believe Elvis, with that living room Mona Lisa version, is a king in every way.
Sem comentários!! Não existem palavras suficientes para explicar a grandeza do artista maior que foi Elvis, com sua voz, carisma e versatilidade, marcou para sempre uma geração e uma juventude que o amava!! Elvis Presley forever...
A little less conversation, a little more action please All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me A little more bite and a little less bark A little less fight and a little more spark Close your mouth and open up your heart and baby satisfy me Satisfy me baby:))))))))))))))))))))
I really love the bit Elvis sings La La La..........I think his voice is better than any body else.I even think he is better than Nat King Cole, no joke.Elvis voice is simply magnetic.Magic to me.
Absolutely right man!!! But then again after World War II everything was marketed to/for the housewife/woman and still is. Elvis was the first feminist.
Thanks for keeping the visuals to the time period. Super choice of a performance which deserves more attention. What a vocal and instrumental stylist! (For all those who say he was not a great singer and could only bang out three chords).
Very lovely by Elvis, but Nat who recorded it in 1950, has the crown with his original rich voice I think on this one. The lyricist of this song Ray Evans died 2-15-07 exactly 42 years to the day(Elvis' age at death),after Nat died.
just simply wonderful, sometimes i preferred elvis' more casual kinda voice he had in just rehearsal or here in this home recording.thank you elviszone, they shoot u down but you just keep getting back up:)

se ha de tener una calidad extraordinaria como cantante, para llenar una cancion, tan solo con la voz y la guitarra. ELVIS IRREPETIBLE.

Great mix of c. 1959 photos and a 1959 recording which should have appeared on the "Something For Everybody" album a few years later.
Elvis at his vocal best and playing a very credible geetar. (He couldn't play, eh?).
