Yes, I do play Halo Combat Evolved on the PC. Your lag is due to poor connection. I have no problem with it. And before you start in on what lag is because you don't think I know, I've played Diablo II. I've seen it all.

its halo for the PC dude. they also added a flame thrower, fuel rod, a bunch of extra weapons, not to mention 10 new maps! and some other cool stuff. you can have much better grahpics on halo pc as well, thats why its better than the xbox version, xbox graphics were designed in 2001 and its fairly hard to swap cards. download the trial learn to play w/ a keyboard or you can plug in a usb controller.. its great

well u cant understand that unless u understand ping first.

ping is ho fast your connection is to the server. all multiplayer games have it.

since hosts, that make the room/ game or watever dont need to connect to themslves, they have 0 ping, wich means everytin hapens automatically and stuff. but for clients that conect to som1 elses game, its diferent.

hosts adv is the host having the advantage of no handicaps. since every1 that conects to the hosts game has ping that isnt 0,

they have to do things on a prediction of wat is going to hapen. for example, in halo, the host just needs to shoot the body, but for clients, they have to shoot infront of the body if its moving, because it takes a longer time for the game to recognize wats going on and then it hapens, so in that delay, the body can move from wer the person shot at. for it to be more clear, look closely at the video, notice how somtimes im shooting at the air wen there is som1 infront of me,

i do that cas i have lag, the effect of high ping, by the time the game recognizes and actualy carries out my derections, like me shooting my gun, for the derections to reach the client or server, it goes thru a dela, and in that delay, wat im shooting can move out the way, so i predict wer hes going to move and i shoot ther, cas wen the delay starts, the body moves there, and get hit by my bulets. this is all diferent for the host, he doesnt have that delay, therefor no handicap,

and he has better aim, wile clients have worse aim, and for all clients, they have diferent ping amounts, wich means its harder for some that have a hih ping, in halo, usualy its good if u have a ping between 0 and 200, after that, thats wer lag really starts, lag is somtimes a synonym for glitching, like teleporting a few feet infront of wer a person shood be, therefore making it harder to hit the person, thats wat hosts adv is.
