  • Hank Johnson is on another level above 99.999% of youtube. He single handledly brought more attention to the military build up in guam (100,000 including military and family) which is more than the entire current population. Give credit to the genius. Also people need to think in hyperbole like the video said. Get a clue people

  • He (the guy from the Johnson office) didn't explain himself well at all. Hank Johnson was clearly worried about the island literally capsizing, that's prior to expressing this concern, he was talking about the physical dimensions of the island.

  • Hank Johnson gets his ideas from the Saturday morning cartoons.

  • Hank Johnson was just kidding. He's one of the funniest negros in Congress!

  • @AchtungPapa: There are white idiots too. Just look at Joe Biden. Racial slurs are not necessary.

  • @ljackso not to mention palin and bachmann...

  • @IcyScythe : And you.

  • I love this video. The ole hyperbole trick eh?

  • 'capsize'...hmm...pretty sure the only meaning of that word is 'tip over', but hey...

  • So what`s the big deal? I was born and raised on the island, and my hubby always referred to it as the "ROCK" !! Didn`t bother me------LOL

  • Hank Johnson is an idiot, plain and simple.

  • Hmmmm never saw this on the daily show. Wonder why

  • The same morons who voted for that racist obama guy voted for this idiot.

  • If Hank Johnson had a brain cell in his head it would be lonesome!

  • What does it matter if he was serious or not? Maybe he did think the island would sink. So what. i have had to ask for help from his office a few times and have found his staff to be most kind and very helpful.

And maybe he did have a little too much to smoke that day. But then the last three presidents have both said they used. So who is the fool that thinks our government is not high?

You should think about this the next time you set on your ass instead of going to vote.

  • @MyDaddyCool

It sounds like you're saying that you're OK with politicians being high...while they're practicing politics.

  • @jevansturner Not really. It is just what I have come to believe they are all gonna do. I don't trust any of them to do anything that they are suppose to do.

  • Lame.

  • Going by what we know about our current President, I'd say Hank is a prime candidate our next President!

  • that guys not funny...sarcasstic maybe

  • @vidzR4kidz shut the fuck up...

  • Comment removed

  • No, it was hyperbole. He was jerking their chain, obviously. You just can't conceive of how a black man is capable of engaging in hyperbole. You can't conceive that this black man is outsmarting aaaaalllllllllll us white people. Besides, he was just suggesting we not go invade (overturn/capsize) this tiny nation just because we can. So mock on until you face the reality that you mock yourselves. This man has shown courage and brains.

  • @thunder88822 He was using HYPERBOLE?!?!? REALLY?!?

It's funny because I watched Hank struggle to what appeared to be him trying to calculate the size of Guam. He even welcomed the assistance of the commander he was talking to, to help him out with the details of the size of Guam. Hank was cleverly (we all know he's a very clever man) saying that the island (at least he knew it was an island LOL) was 24 miles long and 7 mile wide. He then made his "hyperbole" statement? That makes no sense!

  • @thunder88822 Guam is a US territory and part of the United States. Just FYI.

  • Oh damn. That's funny... Really I'm... ROTFLMAO!

  • The spokesman, should be the next congressman, he talks better than johnson..

  • Johnson is an embarasment whether he was literal or figurative. The man can't make a coherent statement, and instead of questioning witnesses in hearings, he rambles incoherent strings of words together VERY slowly.

If the man can't solve whatever mental infirmity has been plaguing him, can we at least shut him up so we don't embarrass our country any more?

  • yeah!...that's the ticket......he was being sarcastic.

  • They need to have the guy taking calls speaking for Johnson instead..

  • Well, I, for one, think that Hank was just doing the best that, he was capable of: so, let's just let'er ride—if, he's good enough for Georgia, well then, he's good enough for Georgia; so, there ya' have it, . . .

  • @phillipgaley He might be good enough for his district but not for the rest of the state.. As a native Georgian he offends me and the fact he was elected to his office should offend everyone!

  • Now we know who does all the real work in Johnson's office.

  • HAHA Anyone notice nobody's saying how that's impossible? I think this is the only guy who knows that islands don't float. Everyone else seems to go along with it.

  • Put that secretary in office.

  • Dude I love that you told him he explained that pretty damn well... we were laughing saying the same thing!

  • tht shit actualy freaked me out, cuz im guamanian, but i was born in louisiana, and have never been there, it costs like $2,000 for 1 person ta go, hank better chek everyones opinion on guam capsizing

  • See our taxes protest video on OldFartsChannel.

  • you got owned

  • That idiot of Hank Johnson doesn't know what an hyperbole is! He don't know no shit!

  • @mgp25470 You dont use "an" before "hyperbole", there is no vowel at the beginning. So you would use "a".

  • the guy in the video - you failed. I know what you wanted to accomplish, but you failed. Johnson was obviously wrong with the comments he made, but you came across as a n00b, worse then him.

  • why are ppl making such a big deal? he was making a joke

  • @nepalnt21 Ppl are making such a big deal because we are tired of obvious morons like Hank Johnson and Nancy Pelosi making policy that affects the daily lives of normal people. It just ain't right ....

  • @toonybrain No, politics are always going to effect the every-day life on a large scale or a small one and we should always be aware of that. We're making a big deal because these types of people in office rely on the ignorance of the American people in order to keep on going - AND IT'S WORKING!! Now we have to make it a big deal just to get every day regular idiot joes (because they're millions out there) to realize what's going on.

  • Hyperbole? Are you kidding me? Hank Johnson for President! Now that's hyperbole. Examples of hyperbole are things like "this weighs a ton" or "you gone on forever". Hank's remarks don't fall into that category. He is clear, calm and explains his theory in full. There is 0 room for hyperbole if you trying to support the claim with other details and facts as Hank did.

  • I thought this said "funny guy"? He pretty much gets owned by the guy on the other end. Just a douch after all.

  • @skiscool the word is "douche," ya nozzle.

  • I'd believe that Hank was using 'hyperbole' if only he had not made so many other idiotic, self-immolating in ignorance statements in the past.

  • just makes ya proud to be an American don't it? no wonder health care reform got passed if we got idiots like him voting for it

  • Hank Johnson is a very Smart and intelligent man, and YES...Islands can tip over, it's a valid fear. Earthworms can fly too. Trees can actually walk. A pound of dirt contains 12 pounds of Global Warming Causing Chemicals. Sea water could fuel my car, and there is such a thing a perpetual motion. I can't wait for these vital American issues to come up in a Government Hearing. So as of right now, One person on this planet thinks an Island could tip over. YE-HAAAW!

  • Sure thats why he went over the physical measurments of the island before saying "tip over" Johnson really thought it would "capsize"

  • Why did we ever bring these people here from Africa?

  • Do you really think that Hank Johnson knows what 'hyperbole' is? I doubt that highly. Mr. Johnson was most likely high on something.

  • As a native Chamorro that was born and raised on the Island of Guam and as a Vetern of the United States Military, now living in Georgia I just want to say that where they want to station these military personnel and families, at one time there were approximately 250,000 people that inhabited this area. I just want to go back home and swim under my native soil to the other side at the narrowest "LEVEL" as stated in the video. Wish me luck that i can hold my breath until i reach the other side.

  • @MrMeneaux I don't know what a Chamorro is but thank you for your service. Maybe you should take a scuba tank on your swim. I've never swam underground but I'm pretty sure it will take longer than underwater. I wish you the best on your long swim.

  • Black district votes skin color, and this is what they get.

  • bagb I HOPE THAT EVERYONE WHO HAS READ THIS OR SEEN THIS DOES NOT JUDGE EVERYONE IN GEORGIA BY THIS LUNATIC. I DON'T KNOW WHAT AREA IN GEORGIA ELECTED HIM BUT IT SURE DOESN'T SAY MUCH FOR THEIR INTELLIGENCE.

  • @bagb3840 the area that voted him are the same idiots who voted cynthia mckenny into office. in his district, decatur, south atlanta area, if your black you could kill babies in the streets, you WILL be elected.

  • @bagb3840 We don't judge every one in Georgia by him but your state has given the country several genius's. Jimmy Carter and that other crazy woman that was in Congress from Georgia. However you do have Mark Rich which will make up for a lot of Hank Johnson so on the whole we like you pretty well. I do think, however, that Hank Johnson's intelligence level speaks pretty well for the average IQ of congress which is somewhere around that of a bag of dung.

  • @iamacamera1 The crazy woman is Cynthia McKinney. Hank Johson and she are about equally nuts - probably awaiting the Mothership.

  • @toonybrain I remembered her name later. Unfortunately the "Mothership" left and she's stuck here. They didn't want here either. Please tell me you'll make both of them stay home after the next election though

  • @iamacamera1 Fortunately for our nation, McKinney is no longer a congresswoman - but she's still roaming our planet scattering around her vast stupidity. "Guam" Hank is - hopefully - on his way to the big smack-down in November. Clowns belong in circuses or at the rodeo or in phone booths or in Volkswagens . . ..

  • First of all, I saw Hank's Johnson's clip and it sure didn't seem to me that he was being hyperbolic. And if he was, it sure wasn't the venue nor the subject.

But just remember this folks: Hank Johnson and those like him will be the ones controlling your health care in the very near future.

    Sweeet.

  • Thank you.

  • stupid

  • hank is a moron, i felt bad for that Navy Admiral going through that meeting, thing. was Rep.hank was not kidding cause the Admiral took him for real and said we don't see that happening

lie all you want hank but it's on top and every single person who sees the vid knows he wasn't kidding about it lol.

  • Hank should suggest providing everybody living in Quam a life boat.

Plus have the Island surrounded with US carriers and destroyers and tied to them move the Island somewhere else. I just listened to him and I will be laughing all night long.

    This is year 2010 Joke.

  • @AshourSoro Guam.

  • Can somebody post Hank Johnson phone number?

I want to give him a crash couse in Geology, so next time he will not think Quam is a like a floating boat or Titanic.

It is not fair that we have millions of smart people unemployed and this guy and others in this government getting paid six digit salary for playing with their balls.

How did he get the Job? Is everybody in his distric has the same level of knowlegde?

  • Just a quick update. I just called a friend of mine in Guam -- it's still there. I'll report back if and when I call my friend in Guam and I don't get an answer

  • If Johnson was joking or using hyperbole, he would have corrected the Admiral when he said that the military did not foresee Guam tipping over and capsizing.

Johnson should have known that all US islands were securely anchored to the seabed in 1988 after Key West almost tipped over during a particularly exhuberent Gay Pride Festival.

  • @mapache11 I like this guy.

  • @mapache11 Well, thank God for exuberant Gays! We could have Islands tipping over everywhere! I'm still hoping for someone to tell us he was joking, stoned, tripping...something to explain his thought process other than idiocy!

  • Racial Differences in IQ Genes Found

    The Wall Street Journal

    By ANTONIA REGALADO

Bruce Lahn professor of Human Genetics at the Unv. Chicago stood before a packed laecture hall and reported the results of new DNA analysis he had found signs of evolution in the brains of some people but not others

He flashed maps showig changes (in brain size/IQ) had taken hold in Europe but were not common in Black/Brown populations

  • @Ooloosoon: it makes perfect sense. If all races did start in Africa (I'm not sure I'm buying that one yet), then the whites evolved and moved out of Africa light years ago...the only blacks that made it out were taken by force (enslaved) and a trickling that moved out to the better European nations and America to take advantage of the goodies. This is making sense.

  • I was left speechless! My question remains, how can his constituents re-elect this idiot? Do you have any idea where his district is? Mars would be my guess....

  • He was totally stoned.....but on what???

  • Hank attended a black college. That is apparently what they teach there. Islands capsize, OJ was innocent, traffic cops are racist and only pull over blacks, white people created AIDS to kill blacks.....yadda, yadda, yadda.

  • @myfletcher Don't forget whites created crack to subjegate the black community as a way to keep them oppressed!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @AdventEdge Its called racism and its funny. Jeez get with the program.

  • @myfletcher

ah yes, making vast generalized statements about HBCU's, clearly not a sign of bigotry or ignorance at all

  • Hahahahahaha.

  • Listen to Corrine Brown give a speech. She's even more entertaining.

  • Hank Johnson is one stupid Democrat. This is typical of the Democratic Party.

  • @TheJimmyPopcorn no kidding,

  • @TheJimmyPopcorn

I agree that Hank Johnson is a moron but let's not get stupid with naming all democrats stupid because if that is the logic then all Republicans are morons because of G.W. Bush.

  • dumb=0-crats on my nuts

  • it wasnt sarcastic. johnson was serious. He honestly thought guam may capsize.

  • @AntaresInScorpius

nobody said he was being sarcastic. guy in video is being sarcastic.

  • it wasnt sarcastic. johnson was serious. He honestly thought guam may capsize.
