It's sad though, I won the contest in Disney, and I couldn't receieve the prize (an instant boost to the front of the American idol auditions) because I'm not a resident of the USA. It's unfair because there are a lot of tourists, and they can't even win the prize.

lol, i was there that day, and the only reason they got picked was cuz the blonde girl was screaming like a nut lol...you can watch my american idol video on my page and see her screaming when no one else is...do not look for the ears cuz disney gave it to them to wear fro the camera when picked

The blue carpet event was great Disney you really need to do more things like this for guests & AP holders. I only wish I was invited to the concert that evening because unlike media I give Disney my money on a regular basis being a AP holder & strongly believe some AP holders should have been invited inside over all media & family of Disney executives. We (AP holders) & regular guests deserve more then what we get at events like this. (Oh & I see me more then once lol) ;)

agreed! know what is worse? disney never announced this on the website or anything, it was only announced in orlando... so they kept the hours the same for closing, but they closed the park to the media, so we couldnt ride anything pass 4pm

As far as closing rides they should have been open until park close at 6:00 so that would have been something to complain about if it did happen since any media or idols could have gone on the rides the entire evening during the after hrs. party. For far as not announcing anything Disney NEVER says anything about things this big in order to try to keep the crowd size as "normal" as possible.

Everyone can participate from just being in the audience to auditioning to be part of the show. Not everyone who auditions can be put in a show that day its just not possible but everyone can audition & try to get in the show.
