and that is how to properly solve any psp issue...

btw my psp fat will not charge tried to chargers it does temp charge the rage quits 10min in. it charges probably 1% :/

  • awesome!!

  • MY PSP YELLOW CHARGER BIT IS BROKEN, I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW PART, NEED THE VIDEO ON HOW TO FIT THE YELLOW CHARGER IN.

  • @konvict411 Look for a disassemble tutorial, and you'll find out how to take the old one out and how to put it back in, easy easy easy. No need for caps either dude.

  • yes that would be very helpful, but for this video what psp version did you use psp 1000, 2000,or 3000

  • @Motortube27 Sorry about the 18 hour delay, but this PSP is specifically a 1,000 Motherboard. Original one. This is actually a PSP From Release Day (TA-079 Motherboard I believe).

  • @konvict411 i have the exact same problem

  • @mongecyo9tails Hey, I just got my Video Camera up and running and I can make a tutorial for replacing that yellow charging bit now. I'll be glad to help you guys out. I'm learning how to use Premier Pro and such and then I'll upload it. I also need some input for new Videos. Any ideas you have please feel free to post :D

  • @Sibobby1 thank u thank u!!!!!

  • @Sibobby1 did you upload the video yet and if you didnt do it soon please because my dad is gona throw it away soon

  • my psp wont charge or turn on, heres why... i have a charger that can change its volt. it can go from 5V to 15V.. now my brother wanted to charge the psp and he put in the cable on with 7V.. and boom.. now the psp wont charge anymore.. can someone tell me whats the problem with my psp???

  • @Gimii55 Should always use a SONY Authentic Charger.... too much voltage could charge the battery too quick and kill the batteries life, and too little could damage longevity of the battery and not fully charge it. Alternating levels of voltage could also blow the fuse in the PSP Causing it to stop charging (Blown fuse). But if you use a Charged battery, it might turn on. This would determine if its the power fuse.

  • Buy A Camera And Make This Video Again!

  • I have a problem with my battery it freezes the game when i play it and then it shuts off and it only charges with the plug it came with it does not charge with the USB and i left it there for a day and nothing happend?? what do i do!!??

  • @mymommymon What type of PSP do you have? If you have the Fat PSP, It will not naturally charge with the USB cable, that is something that I did extra, with a quick wire add. The batter shouldn't freeze the game. What you should try to do is, Fully charge batery, and have it plugged in and play the game, If it goes from Orange to Green light often, then you have a Loose Battery charger or a bad one.... if it shuts down, bad battery... battery not in tight enough + bad charger. Let me know :P

  • It freezes and then shuts off but it can charge only with the adapter that plugs into the wall it does not charge with the USB. And i have a PSP 1001, and it works with the adapter that i used i had the psp adapter plugged in while i was playing and the battery was fully charged and the light was orange and then it froze and then shut down i don't know what to do, should i get a new battery!?

  • @mymommymon PSP 1001 is not configured by stock to charge with USB, that explain that, As for the PSP Freezing, I don't know why it would do that, before buyin another battery, I'd borrow a friends battery and see if it does it. If it freezes in the same spot over and over, is most likely the Disk / UMD. Try that first. Let me know what happens.

  • It's not scratched because this is a new game i am playing and it did not only happen on that game but others too, and i played with my friends psp with my game and it worked perfectly and the plug works, and when it freezes like about 4-5 seconds later it shuts down all power

  • @mymommymon I have no idea, try the disc on another person's PSP with Your charger, your battery, your battery cover, your memory card, your playstation network account, and uhhh try that, if it works fine, obviously your psp is messed up... somehow.... if not, then its one of those things, add each of those components back to the PSP until you find the problem.

  • @mymommymon just like mine

    i need help

  • @brolyss64 That's very strange, I've never heard of this happening. do you have a stock PSP without any hardware changes, or software changes? If that's the case, I'd call Sony and complain and they will probably send you a new one free.

  • I can't charge my psp with the three pin wall charger, but it charged when i use the usb cable. Do you know what is the problem?

  • @xXDarylTanXx Yeah, your power fuse blew as demonstrated on this video, and I assume you have a Slim or a 3000? Because thats what it sounds like happened :/

  • so heres my problem my psp wont charge i have not done the usb power mod but im think about it, umm i plug it in to charge and it wont but if i used a charged battery it turns on ... please help what do you think i should do?

  • @Nggio Thats what happens when power fuse is broken. PSP Will turn on with a charged battery, but the AC Charger won't charge the PSP. What happens is on the motherboard, there are 2 points. Usually there is a fuse there. When AC is plugged in, it goes over the fuse and charges it. When fuse is gone. AC won't charge it, but it will power on with a Charged Battery. The USB Charge Mod WILL Fix your charge problem as demonstrated in this video. Good luck. Reply if you need any help.

  • What if the charger does not working but when you plugged it to the pc it starting to charge the psp itself. My battery was original but it doesn't working. I dont know what to do. Please help me. Thank you!

  • @iamcutewithoutheE Well.... This could be many things, if its not charging with the wall charger, you could have blown the fuse, or you could have a bad charger, use the charger on another psp to check if its good before determining its the power fuse. But because USB charging works, i assume you have a slim which has usb charging already integrated, so that shouldn't be too confusing. If your power fuse is broken and you want an easy fix, I'll add a 2nd reply with what i recommend.

  • @Sibobby1 If the power fuse is broken, and you don't want to open up the PSP, but want to charge it from the wall.... you can splice the AC cord, and the USB Cord, and twist / solder the wires together, to make a AC-> USB cord, which will be perfectly fine in your situation :D You can also buy a AC-> USB Thing from Deal Extreme or online. Verizon makes their phones with that type of charger now-a-days. You can get one used online probably dirt cheap.

  • @Sibobby1 Thank you so much for your reply. It seems that my charger is the problem, someone suggests to me that I should replace my old charger and buy a new one which is a fake. Btw thanks for helping. :D

  • @iamcutewithoutheE No problem, I'm glad I was able to help :)

  • i still have the prblm,

  • @MultiEmma100 I'm offering to help, whats wrong? I'm on vacation so sorry for the late reply.

    -Rob

  • @Sibobby1 erm weell my psp charges for 5 min n thn goes off n dosent turn on

  • @MultiEmma100 Probably a bad battery (maxed out charges) Try with a friends battery and I recommend buying one from Deal Extreme, they are cheap + free shipping.

  • he started in the middle

  • @trickster2590 What do you mean I started in the middle?

  • How did you get the black screen of?

  • @123Lethal456 What do you mean by Black Screen? The Faceplate? there are 7 screws on the outside of the PSP to remove, and then the faceplate comes off. The screen is removed by taking a wedge to the corner and raising it. Then undoing 2 Ribbon Cables. Then you take the brace off with another 7 screws. and thats how you get to this stage.

  • Help me out, dude. Im so addicted to RE3 =(

  • @tabstaba Cant help very much with that one :P

  • @Sibobby1 Dude, I've got the same problem here. I've watched your video but am not sure what wires you connected there. Did you cut the fuse wire on the psp to connect on the usb cable? I already open my psp and am not sure what wires to connect. Please help me out. Thanks, man.

  • @tabstaba I'll send you a message with instructions :P

  • ok thanks i gonna give it a try

  • ok where is this td charging fuse on the psp 2000

  • @nottheanimal789 Its in a different location on the 2000, look on the PSP next to the physical battery prongs. You know, when you take the circuit board out, where the battery goes into those 3 or so metal prongs. Right next to it if you look really close, you will see TD fuse under the 3 prongs and to the right. I'll send you pics of it, but on yours, you will see a burnt out fuse, or possibly nothing at all. You can use my suggestions from there.

  • its fixed thank you so much!!!ur awesome!!! ill messege u if somthing goes wrong!!thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @saysonjeremiah Welcome, congratulations and please feel free to message me. Thanks for the view / comment.

  • yes i did..but i dont know what to do..

  • @saysonjeremiah Okay, on the PSP 1001, Remove the faceplate, screen, screen brace, and look at the top right corner of the motherboard, to the left of the whitish box. I will send you a message so you understand this more thoroughly.

  • @saysonjeremiah

  • @Sibobby1 can yo help me as well

  • @Kendalltriche1 Sure man, whats up?

  • @Sibobby1 well i bought a memory card for my psp and every time i put it in the screen goes out and will not turn on with it in can you help me

  • @Kendalltriche1 Sounds like a bad motherboard or Daughter board. Not exactly my forte in this field. Try other links for possible help, sorry I couldn't help.

  • can u explain to me how u did this???my psp wont charge im planning to sell it but it wont work so i cant..:)

  • @saysonjeremiah Are you able to take your PSP Apart? Because to do what I did in the video, I took the system apart.

  • is there anyway to charge a psp battery without buying anything or makeing adjustments to you psp or wires (opening or cutting) i dont have the charger it came with all i have is the usb and i cant turn it on to go in usb mode...any advice?? (no money avalible to spend lol)

  • @narutoisthebest31 USB Mode would not allow it to charge or anything, Just transfer data between the PSP and the Computer. If you have a SLIM (2,000) it can USB Charge, if you have a FAT (1,000) Then it can not. Alternatively, you can buy an external wall battery charger for like 5$, you can buy an original charger for like 10-12$, you can add a wire into your PSP for like 1/3 of a penny. My suggestion would be ask all your friends for a quarter or a dollar lol.

  • i droped my psp and the power button got stuck so i dont know wat 2 do i cant turn it on plis help

  • Dude, i´ve been trying this for ages! Pleas explain how you did this, it would realy mean alot.

  • @nills99 Check your mailbox, Im sending you diagnostics :P Thanks for viewing my video.

  • @Sibobby1 can you also send the diagnostics for me as well i will be much great full :)

  • @Listed21 Sure thing man, Check your inbox.

  • when i put gta china town wars on my custom firmware 3.71 m33-2 and there was no gta on the ms so i formated my psp and then i couldnt turn on psp please help.

  • sir can u also help me about my psp same as the problem w/ others my psp is not charging but in other psp my charger is charging i think the fuse or the inner part of the psp has the problem.. what should i do.. can u send me steps on how can i fix this?... tnx...

  • Sir. I think I have the same problem as yours. My fuse blew up too. I can only USB charge. Could you possible tell me in detail how and what is done? Thanks a lot

  • @bepokerst Sure i sent you a message about it :D

  • Thanks for the message. But the charger is not spoiled nor can I charge my frens batt. Basically I think the charger to batt medium is spoiled. The PSP does not also show that it is charging... Is there some fuse coz i put in 6V charger instead of the 5V PSP charger. Thanks.

  • @bepokerst The "Medium" between the battery and the charge would be From the charger to the port, which is a 2-5$ Easy swap out, then after that it goes over the fuse, to the 3 prong battery piece in the back. Wipe out some of the variables, if another charged battery works on the PSP, then the 3-Prong piece works, after that, try plugging in a friends charger that you know works, so you know its not the charger, Then after that use a Volt Meter on the sides of the fuse and you'll find out.

  • @bepokerst I also will send you another message about where the fuse is in pictures. Thanks for the comments.

  • @Sibobby1 Sir. Can I have the pics on where the fuse is. I really think that the fuse is at fault. Probably burnt up as I used a 6V charger of my own. I feel that the charger port is not spoiled as there is nothing in the port to spoil. No matter what charger/batt combi I use .. the batt fails to charge in my PSP. But my batt and charger used on another PSP .... the batt chargers. Thanks for your help so far sir.

  • @bepokerst Sure thing.... Uhhh I have to find the picture I took; but for the time being, I'll send you another link of a site with similar pictures / information.

  • can you send me that pic to showing where to put the wire please thanks.

  • @iforgetitshaw Any luck with the PSP?

  • yo my psp will not charge when i plug it in but the orange light comes on it charges really slow some time it wont charge at all!!

when i take the battery out the psp will not turn on and the battery runs out of power quickly

P.S the orange light will not come on unless i move it and twist it around

    really apriciated if you responce

  • cool vid man it realy help wit ma psp i thought it was ruined thnx

  • @Elmasterjudio No problem man, thanks for watching, commenting, rating and such

Anytime you need help - Message me -

    -Rob

  • @Sibobby1 can you help me? i once wanted to take a look at my psp so i made it open (the battery part) i dindt remove the battery i just looked then i put it back and now it wont go on ore charge its just like he dosnt detect a battery

  • my psp go wont recharge or turn on i never dropped it and it was working perfectly

  • @silverthornboy19 PSP Go.... Brand New.... so it should have a Warranty.... Call Sony and tell them what happened, they should replace it for free :)

  • my psp wont turn on

when i plug the charger it turns on but the battery bar states its full charged

so when i unplug the charger the psp goes off

when i leave the charger for about 5 minutes it turns off

is it becuz of my battery or what?

and it wont play any games too

    what should i do?

  • Your battery is most likely shot.... what happens is, the battery is Lithium Ion... Ions are atoms that have a certain charge due to electron gain or loss... considering its in S Block, it most likely lost its ions, making it Positive Charge. Ions break down over time (Decay) And my guess is that your battery has reached its full life of 1,000 Times and needs to be replaced :) Before buying a new one, borrow a friends battery and see if it works :D

    Let me know what happens

    Thanks for comment

  • okay thanks.

  • my psp 3000 slim battery was workin fine all day then all out of a sudden it just went completely dead andi try charging it and got nothing what do i do? do i get a new battery or what?

  • the exact same happened to me yesterday to omg but i have a psp go like we both need help

  • People with PSP GO and PSP 3000 MOST LIKELY got them recently because the GO only came out like a few months ago. The PSP DOES come with a warranty by Sony in case of any Manufacturer defect / problem with the PSP. If you call up SONY USA, and tell them the problem, they will most likely fix your PSP for free... At modding websites, not many people even took apart the Go / 3000 and understand it completely.

  • I cant do anything like that to my psp my brother says its either the charger or the battery i think because i charge it frequently?

  • I don't understand... Heres what you can do. Take a Charged Battery (From a friend or from your brother wherever) and put it in your PSP... Turn it on and tell me if it works... If it doesn't work then you have this problem. Try that and let me know what happens.

  • i tried my psp with another battery and it worked so whats the problem

  • @yourmaster7455 Exactly what this video says, your Power Fuse is broken. so you have to do a USB Charge mod for the Phat PSP or you have to bridge the fuse with a hazard risk. Your call.

  • my psp is a psp 3000 slim and i have tried usb and it still wont work what do i do

  • @yourmaster7455 If you have the 3000 brite psp, then you probably got it recently, meaning that you still have a warranty on it from Sony. Call them up, and they should repair it for free.

  • help my psp cant turn on . i charged and no response.. no light. nothing..i tried also with usb.. nothing.. i tried with my friend's psp charged battery and nothing happen .. didnt turned on! help.. psp slim.

  • Take your friends PSP, Charge his battery, and put his battery in your PSP And see if it boots up. If it doesn't double check to make sure the battery is good by booting it in his PSP. This will get the Battery variable out of the question as to why your PSP isn't working

    Thanks for the comment.

  • @Sibobby1 yes i tried that and same thing happen :(*

  • Okay so with his Charged Battery it does not boot, so the PSP has a problem with bringing power to the console.... Which is very strange. My Guess is that the motherboard prongs where the battery is are shot. Usually people have a problem charging the battery through the PSP due to a broken fuse. but if your putting a battery in your PSP that you KNOW is charted and its not Booting up, it can't be the Fuse.

  • @Sibobby1 il try again with the battey(charged) and il try over and over for 1 hour and il tell you what happens.. problem is...meeting him might take awhile cos its holiday here and its hard..

  • okay how can i fix it...?

  • You can hard wire the 1st pin of the USB Wire to the AC Power terminal,... thing is, It should already be done in the board itself, and I doubt it got damaged, so thats why im really lost as to why its doing this. And its taking it apart canceling your warrenty with Sony.

  • i mean yeah there is but how?

  • okay is there a way to fix it?

and where can i get the stuff to fix it?

  • Radioshack? Soldering iron, Solder, Flux, Soldering iron tip? 30 gauge wire

  • yeah i know but i didnt get it cuz i was lyk 7 dollars short...so pretty much im screwed rite?

  • you can fix it but its impractical, the materials and tools would cost you more than 7$

  • wow dude yu made this vid on my bday....anyways bro i need help my psp 3000 wont charge only with the usb buh i dnt wanna keep using that..how can i fix this?

  • Hey if you have a 3,000, its most likely pretty new (Under 1 Year) Meaning it probably still has warranty... With that being said you should probably call Sony concerning any problems that your having with it and they should repair it :)

  • hey men why u couldn't send a instruction fo a friend in help???

  • You posted a couple of days ago (2) and you said Can you please send me the instructions to fix your Slim.... I think I sent them to you, I'll resend em but I thought I sent them for you.

  • do u know why do electricity in the house only attack chargers and not everything else? Why do chargers burn? I got psp 3k and few days ago, charger burnt 1 month ago, psp orignal charger had burnt. psp wasnt charging so i borrowed from a friend of mine and i have to pay him. Back in 2008, 2 laptop charger burnt, yesterday a printer ac adaptor burnt. :(( whats causing this ?

  • Thats weird.... Id call a technician, obviously something is surging your lines allowing too much electric letting them fry.... Not sure why its doing that :[ And what do you mean by burnt.... did it Blow up, catch fire and burn down a room?

  • can you send me the instruction to fix it plsssss so i can fix my psp slim 2004 plssssssssssss,.,,,,,thnks

  • i was playing fifa 10 just now , then it sudden ly turned of. and when i turn it on nothing happen, nno lights what so ever ,, after doing something like removing th bat aqnd put it back again .. the green light started flashing, and the screen is turned on but nothing is showing. so i remov the bat and put it back again... and the psp cannot turn on no light whatsoever even with the ac in. please help :(

  • its a psp slim.

  • Well green flashing light means dead / dying battery , and if no lights are showing its not charging, lets try to remove some variables from this case.... Do you have another PSP or Acess to another PSP? Becuase if you can use battery that you KNOW is charged on ther PSP, Then you can eliminate that there is NO problem with the PSP And its all on the Electrical end, then we can break it down to AC Adapter, USB Charging, Dead-Cell Battery, or Fuse :]

  • hey thanks for the info i will try and use another battery as soon as possible.

  • mines the same way as this vid But mypsp dosent charge on usb either

  • Hmmm, Mine didn't charge with the AC Adapter unless I bridged that fuse, but if i got another power surge in my 20 year old house (likely) Then my PSP could have caught fire from too much power entering the console, so instead of bridging it, I put a Wire from the 1st pin of the USB Port, to the contact to the battery terminal to make it charge off USB until I got a 2nd PSP / Motherboard for like 50$ :]

  • I have this problem where my Ac Adapter doesn't charge my slim psp so I have to charge with USB cable. I would like some help on how to fix it. Charging with USB is quite a hassle. So please send me some Instruction on how to fix it.

  • Hmm, well if your AC adapter isn't charging it, but your USB is... Power is getting to the battery, so I don't think it could be the power fuse, I wonder if the electric is getting from the wall to your PSP, have you tried that AC Adapter with another PSP to make sure there is power going through to it, then trying it on yours? You have to cross out some possible variables. And if that's not the case, you might just have a broken yellow AC Adapter for PSP which is minuscule in price :P

  • I have already tried with my friend's PSP and it works for him then when I tried with mine there's no yellow lights. So it's not the charger but the PSP is having problems so I'm looking to Fix it If you can help.

  • Hmm, Yellow Lights? I'm curious as to where your finding these YEllow lights? I only get Green hen on, Green flashing when Low, Orange with USB / AC Adapter sharging. And remember your LED might be blown, have it on USB Charge, boot it, go to System Battery Settings under System Settings then plug in the AC, then take out the USB Charging and see what it says..,

  • I think I have already tried To use the USB to charge then plug in the AC Adapter and then removing the USB but the Orange light it gone If I do that. So I can charge with the USB and not with AC Adapter.

  • Your psps indicator light might not be sensing the AC Adapter, try putting in USB, Then go to Settings, System Settings, Battery Options or information, read it, Then plug in the AC, Then unplug the USB, same message?

  • i have the same problem. when i plug in the charger the orange light doesn't show up like the psp doesn't know it's plugged in o.0 do i need a new charger? i didn't do anything strange to my psp or charger so it's not my fault.

  • Uhhh, I assume you can't charge your battery so its dead, borrow your friends PSP, Put in the their PSP, and try to boot it, if it does, try the charger, if it shows orange light then its your battery. if it doesn't, The LED might be out, go to settings, system settings, and check if it says charging. Let me know how that goes, and then i can give you repair instructions further on from there.

  • wow someone who's helping me ^_^ okay i tried that already and it won't charge his either. it just won't charge anything, and neither psp even knows it's there.

so please send the instructions ^_^ i heard gamestop doesn't sell chargers for the 1000 anymore....so i'm f'd up right O.O

  • But thing is, use your friend's PSP to Charge his battery, then use the battery you KNOW is charged, put it in yours and try booting the PSP. This will see if the Battery Terminals are bad, if the Power Fuse is bad, if there is a short, something is lose, or what.

  • it works with his battery, i didn't do anything crazy with my psp. or the battery. do i have to stab the charger or something? my friend lives far away and that's a long way to charge ^_^

  • You might have broke the Power fuse, whats happening from my understanding, is thsat the battery works int he PSP, so electric gets to it, but the power is not going from the AC Adapter to the battery. The path it goes along is Yellow Ac Adapter -> 2 Wires -> White Box on the motherboard -> Over a Power Fuse -> To the battery terminals. Ill send you some repair instructions :]

  • sir can you send me the repair instruction too

thank you so much and god bless

  • @fean21 Hows your PSP?

  • uh dood, my psp will charge from USB mode but not from the charger mode. i have yet to try a new battery but can u tell me anything from that..?

  • Well let see.... Fat, Slim, 3000, go? Can you boot it with a friends battery? Can you boot it with just USB / AC Adapter, Does an orange light show when the AC Adapter is plugged in?

  • i havea 3000, if the battery dies im screwed. the AC adapter doesnt charge diff psp or diff batteries i tried on a 2000 and a 2000 battery. it charges with the USB, but it seems my AS adapter died or something i unno. but it died once and i had to manually rub the battery for like 5 seconds of life in order to go int o USB mode i got lucky...

  • Well it sounds like the AC Adapter is bad, which you can buy from wherever :P

  • And why are you screwed if the battery doesnt charge? I thought they sold replacement batteries for the 3,000? If not you can get an original battery from deal extreme or somewhere, but if the ac adapter doesn't chartge other PSPs it could be your wall outlet (Try to charge something else) then try your friends AC Adapter.

  • dude plz i need som help i connect the charger to the electricity and the i connect it to the psp and then..... NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENS!!! PLZ u get and solutions?!

  • I have a problem, my psp wont charge any battery in it but will work on a battery charged be someone elses psp, so I assume the power is being lost before it gets to the battery. What would cause this, the LED light is not going on to show its charging

  • OK... THIS IS PLAIN CRAZY... THE PSP WORKS... WITHOUT BRIDGING THE TD FUSE!!! WTF?!?!?! I just reasembled it to try bridging it with a wire and just tried to hook up the power cord to test it out... and it worked... WTF?!?! How is it even possible? Whatever... I'M GLAD I DON'T HAVE TO BRIDGE OR DO ANY MODS TO IT!! Phew.. problem solved! ^^ I am so grateful to you, really.. my PSP was broken for a long time and now it works again!!!

  • Well if you reassembled it and you connected the 2 points with a wire, thats still bridging it lol, its just bridging it with a wire,... Thats what i did above. Your still gonna be trafering a lot of electric and its still goign through the points with bypassing the fuse. If it touches any metal you will hear a short and a lot of clicking, in that case, I'd suggest putting electric tape over the connection you made to isolate it. and you did what i did in my vid xD Told ya It'd work :p

  • No no no... I didn't bridge anything... I WAS ABOUT TO but I plugged in the adapter first without bridging anything in any way... simply putting it all together... must have been a loose contact the fault for it not working. The TD fuse is there still partyly broken though... Who cares?! The PSP works again!! ^^

  • XD!!! I guess the fuse was like rusted or something to cause the contacts not to touch :p dissasembling it, touching the fuse must have put it back in line to fix it :D and the way a fuse works is like this: + ------ [ ] ------ +, when the curent is too much the box breaks :p if your still getting current, its not broken :D

Yay, your welcome for the help, have fun gaming :P

  • YOU WERE RIGHT!!! THAT FUSE IS BLOWN!! I don't even have the TD fuse! It needs to be bridged! Thaks for the help!!!! And by the way I'll be using a PSP charger that has:

    Input: AC 230V 50Hz

Output: 5.V 1.5A (-)--(o--(+) I think the phat needs 2A so the overcharge should be out of the question with it! THANKS A MILLION AGAIN!! I'll post if bridging it solved the problem!

  • Your welcome man. Just Remember, yeah it will work, just like what I was doing in this Video, all I was doing was using a wire to bridge it to see if it will work... and it may have blown from a power surge, if you get another one your psp may get FRIED and or catch fire. Just a warning.

  • I don't really know what to bridge using the wire... Could you post a clear image of the process? and any wire should do?

  • Aww I can't unscrew my PSP to open it up............... What dumb luck I'm having. Forget it I'll just have to live without my PSP then.........

  • Check around the house, I had a bad screw too, what i did was used a Drill, drlled out the screw took faceplate off, then used plyers to undo it easily. Then ue a replacemen screw from inside the PSP thats not necesary or from something else with small screws like a cell phone

  • I have this problem with my PSP slim too. It just stopped charging one day and I'm really stress out. A little help please?
