  • The rock n roll mudra is close to the mudra that sends energy down the body (opposite of lotus) very powerful mudra.

  • Sadie...you are so awesome. The last one got me! :)

  • Thanks sadienardini you rock!

    Namaste'

  • @Mrgyn Are you okay?? Embrace you judgmental attitude, that you so choose. Remember … when you judge. Plan to be judged. A friendly reminder to the cynical, peace and light ; )

  • @gg010170 Fair enough; I was looking back at my inbox, to delete and such. And i saw my comment. Gosh, what was i thinking? I must have been having a terrible day, that day. I just want to apologize for taking the video out of context. I re-watched the video just to see where i may have been coming from. And to no avail. So, please beg my pardon. I think i'll have to file that away in my brain as having one of 'those' days. Take care : )

  • the rock and roll simbol are so satanic and the other mudra you show its the representation of the 666 ...people please do not trust this satanic person...go to internet and look for more information about that mudras....she its so satanic

  • you are satanic iluminatti, that mudras are for destruction 666 you are satanic do not lie to the people

  • mudra of knowedge is with the fingers toghether.. i note that u put youru fingers opens and that means el diablo !!!

  • u are a bubble. I like your bones.

  • How come white people always become "founders" of other people's culture?

  • Sadie.. your too cute... Thank You for sharing.... Peace =)~

  • Wonderful. I dont even know that the 'rock'n'roll mudra' was so strong. It's nice to know about that Thank you, God bless

  • So Gang SIgns are older then we think

  • here is a certain intention expressed, you are no yogi, no more than the fakes that called themselves spiritual lea....oh i see ;) i feel enlightened, though unusually, my pocket doesnt feel more empty...

  • But what it REALLY is is all the handsigns related to satan like the baphomet sign and the goat of mendes.Lake of Fire!Shalom

  • Thanks a lot Sadie.

    Namaste.

  • omg the rock and roll one?

    you really dont know shit.

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha, your rock and roll mudra has a dual meaning; it's also the american sign language way of saying "I love you."

Another awesome video, Sadie, thank you for giving us all such a great resource to study from. I'm going for my 200hr teacher training this spring, and I definitely plan on picking up your at home teacher training course as a means of study afterwards. It's always great learning from someone so full of light. Have a Happy Holiday.

    Aspiring Yogi Out.

  • @tpaladino

our job is to be happy :)

  • You are gorgeous Sadie! kisses from Argentina

  • Hey, thanks! It's the yoga!;) Hi from NYC. S

  • there is actually a mudra, a hand gesture like..the rock n roll gestures which is for...love :)) i was quite surprised with that to be honest :P

    what a loving....music metal is! :P

  • Exactly! Rock and roll Mudra is also used in Feng Shui as a clearing Mudra for negative energy--you dip your middle and ring fingers into water wiht 9 orange peels in it, and flick them in the corners of all your rooms. Repeat Om Mani Padme Hum ...it's a great space-cleansing ritual!

  • @sadienardini Thx ; )

  • @Meanstreak80s illuminati symbol for baphomet. too many people are scared of it though

  • Hey Sadie, I was just going through your videos in hopes of finding a series of poses for those to do during menstruation. I thought you had some up before, but I cannot find it. If not, would you be able to do a video for us to use when we are menstruating?

    Thanks,

    dunielle

P.S. I love the way you teach. You are not boring. I can see the life inside of you. I love it!

  • omg, rock n' roll mudra? I LOVE IT! YOGA ROCKS!!

  • And if we lived in a cave like a Sadhu, we wouldn't need to charge for yoga.

There is a spiritual - Itarashtam tithar kashtam, which basically means empty handed you come, empty handed you go.

A yoga teacher who cant teach classes because they have no money serves no one at all.

  • Not a very Yogic attitude Mrgyn. If you can't say anything positive, say nothing. Hypocrite.

  • And you judge...

  • @sadienardini ...thank you...is there a mudra which reduces the tendency to project? :)

  • @sadienardini We all judge (it is the nature of the mental chit chat in our heads and i believe that women are the worst)! He is right though, all these mudras are useless without the proper qigong exercises and magical incantations which develop the various energy systems in and around the body. You along with everyone else can continue dreaming about learning the real stuff because they are strictly kept top secret.Maybe in 100000 lifetimes, Good luck with that

  • @oscie1 And how do you know this to be true? You can not. It is true to you. Not necessarily to others, please be mindful when you speak of your reality. Your reality is not necessarily everyone else's. Thank you kindly ; ) peace and light ; )

  • @gg010170 Everyone possesses what is called a mental body/"chitta" which is a subtle energy field around the head area.It is the nature of this energy to calculate, judge and sum things up and generalize.Everyone has it so therefore you FAIL with your comment.

  • @oscie1 Yes, i see how i failed. And in more ways then one; i was going thru my inbox today. And found this 3 month old reply. I didn't quite understand it. What was i thinking, I feel i took the video out of context. I re-watched and still have no idea what i must have been going thru. Nonetheless, i retract…no..i apologize for that message. I must have been having a poor day. I even wake up to Sandi every other morning to do bed-yoga.It really helps to start your day with an intention: )

  • vinyasa is good stuff. =P

    my mudras are mighty. ;)

  • namaste!!...very cool and up beat attitude!

  • Thanks--life is too short not to have fun with it, in my opinion;)

    xoSadie

  • my feet do have these energy points more than my hands, why is this, very relaxing and calming video,

  • lets see your mitt

  • Namaste =)

  • you're unbelievably cool :)! thanks so much for sharing the knowledge!!!

  • hot girl

  • I think I'm in love...

  • WHAT IF I PERFORM THESE HAND MUDRAS SPONTANEOUSLY WITHOUT MAKING EFFORT IN MY DAILY LIVING? Particuarly speaking i've been performing the guyan mudra with my left and right hands. The only reason I was know of mudras was because of these spontaneous hand postures that occurred. Pretty interesting stuff......albeit I subscribe to Buddhism and keep my consciousness in the present moment where it should and always be. :)

  • Yeah, Sadie is right. Lighten up, guys. Just enjoy creativity. After all, all yoga poses and mudras were created, and I believe, interpreted in many different ways. Just have some fun, will you?!

  • Great explanations on Mudras but the last one is not actually the rock-n-roll sign. It's actually the sign for I love you in American Sign Language. (ASL) To "rock" bend all fingers down except the index finger and the pinkie finger.

  • Let's just say it's the Rock-n-Roll Love Mudra! Even better;) xoxoSadie

  • namaste! great video thanks for posting:)

  • Thanks for saying so;)

    xoxoSadie

  • your really cool, smart and pretty.

    i want to marry you.

    your perfect !

  • gracias, agradezco que!

    xoxoSadie

  • hay como me gusto esta chica estas muy hermosa,...... namaste

  • doesn't that last hand sign mean "I Love You"

    in sign language

I find it interesting that the "i love you" in American Sign-Language, is also meant to convey unconditional positive regard.

  • Heheh,

    It's true!

    xoxoSadie

  • No, she's doing it wrong. When you make devil horns your not supposed to stick your thumb out. I find it ironic she's doing devil symbols while practicing yoga spirtuality to commune with god.

  • Yea, but, don't you understand the "energy points" that are being used in these practices?

    +

I don't think she intended to make "devils horns" in the 1st place.

  • Yes, I understand. I know it was in jest but do you understand , intentional or not, you can't just make up your own mudras as its meaningless and won't help the least bit except to listen to some Iron Maiden or Mega Death.

  • haha I just re-watched the video right now, and i see what you mean, the hand symbol she makes isn't even the "devils horns" or a "metal horns" or the more {unfortunate} phrase "rock hands".

    &

i don't think that last "mudra" even counts as a mudra because: 1) as you mentioned, she made it up 2) it seemed like one of those "fun motivator" or something like that.

But there is an actual mudra that looks like the "horns" i've seen it, I forget it's purpous but, I know it's out there

  • Hi darlings,

This sign is the "I love you" but it reminds me of "Rock and Roll," all of which I translate to "fierce!" This mudra uses reflexology points, yes, but my main point here is to do things with your body, mind and heart that make you smile, that bring good energy into your day, and that reveal the perspective you hold about the world, and yourself.[cont]...

  • If you see devil horns here, you're probably like that in your real life too...and maybe you could lighten up! If you think it's "not a mudra," you might consider making more creations that make you happy. Rules only serve if they serve your soul's true happiness. Perhaps it's a good thing to play, to be fun, and to stamp the world with your own fierce signatures. Just a thought, yogis...xoSadie

  • ah, Thanks sorry for not considering the whole energy points in the body.

Thats all mudras are for anyway, right?

  • Yeah, you know, hands and feet have so many energy points, just about anything you can do with your hands is a Mudra. There's a whole book on them. But also, I think it's a way to have some fun--you should see my classes light up and laugh when we do this...and to me, that's great energy too;)

    xoxoSadie

  • i know this is a silly question, but I've always wondered what people who have lost their hands or fingers do. Do they lose this miracle of reflexology? It seems limiting to our divine nature that a physical injury could diminish our spiritual exercise potential

  • Hi there...

yogis say that the energy body is still present as kind of an underlying blueprint, even if the physical body is lost. So for someone who has lost fingers, hands, limbs, or is paralyzed, say, they can meditate on the energy [Pranic] body doing what the physical one would have done. This is powerful, as it can really engage the student at a deep level. We should all be working in this way, the imagery is up to you, but it's good to think that everyone can benefit from the energetics.

  • Thanks!!! Back atcha:)

    Sadie

  • You got me to press the 'subscribe' button! :-)

  • Awesome!!!

Glad you did! Let me know what else I can do for you, so you don't press the Unsubscribe one:)

    xoSadie

  • I would say just make as much videos as possible :-)

No really, you'd have to act terrible, or become really boring for me to unsubscribe.

Somehow I dont see that happening! :-)

I wish you all the best and hope to see lots more of you! :-)

  • I agree w. digital3michael. really nicely done.

  • thanks! I'm glad you learned from this. Now take the Rock N' Roll Mudra out into your world and spread the love! xoxoSadie

  • I did all three mudras yesterday, privately, at the office and I even "rocked on" to myself. It was awesome. Self-affirmations DO work. I am going to try and learn more about the reflexology in the hands and feet - I love how the body is connected in all kinds of places. I have learned a lot from you and you are not off-putting - on the contrary, friendly and welcoming about this, and not putting on any airs. I appreciate that!

  • Hey, thanks...it's the best compliment that I'm not Yogier-Than-Thou, as I call it. I hope not! I think that what you choose to make your truth, will be--good or bad. So why not water the flowers instead of the weeds! Rock and Roll Mudras unite!;)

  • Yogier than Thou. That is so classic. :) Nope, you're not like that at all, it would seem. You don't seem to talk down, which is what I've experienced and seen a few times. How off putting! You are probably a great person to take a beginner's class from!! I'd be there if I weren't in CA!

  • Heheh.

I do teach all sorts of levels in one class! Every classis Open, and we work where we are. I don't feel that I have anything more than anyone else...we're all just remembering that at the deepest levels, we already are completely awake and awesomely fierce:)

    xoxoSadie

  • Awesomely fierce is a good way to walk out the door today, just remembering that I'm OK, that my physical pain is just my body and that in spirit, I'm fine and today is a beautiful N. California day - I work all day at a nonprofit I love and that all of my friends and family are OK and healthy. Life is good.
