me too! i completely freaked out when the helicopter left without him...you can hear me scream 'no no no!' lol. and yea, i just wanted to make sure everyone knew that there was an explanation of it on that news website. and like the guy says in that video, criss probably wants us to figure it out. he wants us to think. i agree with that.

and you're welcome about the illusion thing. it makes me sad when people say it's 'fake', when it's illusion and there's supposed to be things happening when you're not looking. of course he didn't actually stay in the building and somehow miraculously lived, but that was the illusion. he made us think that for that moment. and now we know what really happened, but during the time it happened, it freaked us out and left us wondering which was exactly what he meant to do.

ya i know its an illusion but i just love to believe it was real even tho i know its not but that's what makes it great him making us think like you said! and i hate when ppl call it fake to i mean if you know he says not everything is real HE TELL YOU THAT! and i just hate when ppl try to be cool and just "reveal" all of his illusions and stuff! anyway i still loved that episode!

yea i was kinda sad when they revealed it too, but i'm still happy with the whole thing cause it terrified me at the moment. haha. i love when he does the really scary stunts and i was glad to be able to see it in person. it completely freaked me out, i loved it.

ok so...you guys can stop wondering what he did. Fox 13 has covered this event and explained how Criss did it. just go to the website and you'll find videos about it. and remember, this stunt shouldn't be called fake. it doesn't matter what parts were real and what parts weren't. it's all part of the illusion. there's an explanation to everything he does. so be nice! :D and don't give me mean comments for this cause i just gave you a way to find out what really happened. :)

what happenend is that as soon as he entered that hallway for door #3 is when they put up the prerecorded video. when he went to door #2 he had handcuffs on the right side of his pants. when he entered the hallway, all of sudden he doesnt have handcuffs anymore. when everything switched to prerecorded video, criss when to the neighboring building, and using the dust from the collapse as a "smoke screen", he ran to the grass ditch and hid there. pretty amazing that the camerman ran right to him.

well i have watched a couple more videos to think about this and relize even with a bomb shelter it was a colapse from the ninth story he would of died from the impact. he's so confusing and hard to believe this. wow hes confusing. how did he survive!? man what ever happend he sure had a good stunt and better continue and not stop.

do you think the inside recordings could of been previously recorded, when he turns the corner it would of been perfect after he broke the window. it wasnt a continuous shot. just switching cameras, its a perfect plan he could of headed to a bomb shelter instead of all of that. he planned it all out. this is FAKE

i believe he went through the buildings collapse. but otherwise he fell down it all safe in a shelter.

that stunt was fake. he tells everyone that he will escape from a helicopter so that everyone looks up at the sky and doesnt see him escape to the ground.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree this commenter should be getting negative feedback. The first thing I thought of when I heard about this stunt was "Gee, that's clever. I'll bet the plan was never to get into the helicopter to begin with." Just because Angel doesn't do exactly what he says he is going to do doesn't make him a "fake." Misdirection is the most common tool for magicians. Look over there while I do this over here. It's smart and the stunt worked because of it.

No, it's not clever, it's insulting. He didn't actually put anything on the line. Not even his reputation. If he really did get stuck before reaching the helicopter, they simply wouldn't have imploded the building, but at least he'd be gambling his reputation on that. Anyone who can pick locks could do this stunt, and once you know that nothing was at risk it becomes astonishingly dull. This was a huge disappointment.

It catered to the people it was meant to cater to- his fans. It was entertainment for his fans, and they walked away feeling satisfied. If you don't like, say, Jim Carrey and you go to see a Jim Carrey movie you won't be blown away by it. The job of an illusionist is to make something seem dangerous without actually putting themselves in danger. I'm not a Criss Angel fan- he's quite full of himself. He did his job- entertained the right people.
