Interesting, he uses the Thai version of bowing with your hands folded to say hello. Only fear I would have using this is that if he kicks hard enough I get my own thumbs right in face or eyes.

Yes it is....and yes its older,but not different....Its just that modern muay thai has been toned down for the sake of international acceptance as a valid in-ring sport.....otherwise you could call this street muay thai. very effective and more rounded than its in-ring brother....
