omg this is the best straighener/flat rion ever because one time i spent the night at my friends house and i brought everything like my clothes makeup ect. but then i forgot my flat iron/straightener and so i asked the girl that i was spending the night with if i could use her straightner and my hair was a mess but when i used that flat iron...i fell in love with it and it is totally worth as much as it is because my hair stayed like pin straight for like the next 4 days and i just am in love

@milybluhoo They both do a very good job in straightening hair. its just preference on what you want. i do feel though that the babyliss does make it shinier than the CHI since it's titanium. hope this helps and thanks!

it goes from 300 - 350 degrees. If you use 50 your using 350 which is too much for most hair types. This iron will kill your ends after extended use.

heyyy i got it 2 days ago and i was very glad. its the original and is the same iron as yours. but i got my hair so straight in a while and then it got curled again :S

aw. i'm so sorry. Wouldnt really know the answer to that since we dont have curly hair. did you try maybe a slightly hotter setting. dont forget to use heat protectant. that may also help. i'm so sorry couldnt help any further

when you first opened the flat iron did it have a warning where it says " the cord may contain lead" because i got a flat iron like that before and i can't really have a cord containing that especially since i am around kids alot.. i was thinking about purchasing this flat iron.

Would you do me a favour?  I REALLY WANT THIS IRON... but I need to know first if it works for 220 volts. I've been trying to find that info for 3 weeks now and I have not found anything sure. You have it in your hands so it could be easier for you. That info usually comes below the plates on the inside of the iron or maybe in the user manual. You seem really nice and I really hope you are willing to help me. XD

Many people complain that the plates don't meet and you can't really straighten the small part.

Well, yes. it does have a small gap between the plates. I thought this was going to be a problem. But it sure isnt! Just make sure you have enough hair in it so it can straighten all of it. I see that with just one passing, it comes out super straight. :-) I love it.
