no, it did my head in too, i moved back into my parents place wich made it even worse.
i think what helped me is that i now do a job that means im away alot, like 8 months of the year, it was nearly 6 months of shite first though, i hated being back at first.

I got really lucky, an old friend landed me a job on drilling rigs and doing offshore construction. im away 4 weeks then get 2 weeks home, it makes still living at home a little easier.

vangvieng is a fairly small town and anywhere you stay will be able to sort you out with getting to the tubing place, any guest houses that do this for you will add a little tiny bit to the price but its usually not enough to worry about. as the town is pretty small you cant help but meet people that are going tubing. just alway give a fake name,(i used tony blair) because if u lose your tube they may ask for soe money but its easy to walk away and funnier if they end up looking for tony blair!
HAHAHAH! thx u so much, Tony Blair! lol! i got back from Vangvieng like 1 week ago. i did tubing, but not swinging coz i cant swim :P its an unforgetable memories and u know how i found out the place? i walked in the internet shop, logged in Youtube, and show ur video to Laos ppl and ask where i can do that. thx u for this awesome video. it inspires me to be there. OMG! i'll definitely be back again. I LOVE VANGVIENG!!!

i hope it stays like this too. thankfully laos, as a wholes seems to be as far away from our crazy Health and safety culture as it could possibly be.
thats the only thing that would ever stop this thing being great. hopefully its going to be around for a while longer.
