i love the disco, as a first truck, although there r 2 more options i want, im looking at the land rover discover HSE7, my parents had a dico2, but it was an SE. ur truck looks really nice, thumbs up!
Good for holidays(big boot), deep snow and the smuggness you get when you see other people getting stuck in their CR-Vs and X5s(or any german 4x4 exept a toureg mabe),maintence isnt bad cus my dad used to work for landrover so we get cheap parts,comfy, decent spec and its very economical 15mpg on a good day :D
its a disgrace do even count hummers as good offroad vehicles cept the h1 but otherwise they are not really that great the three best makes are landrover jeep ant then the toyota landcruisers and hiluxes
The LR4s drive better than it's predecessor and have some big much needed improvements. Depending on what you're looking for I would go with the LR4 if it's in your price-range and you're not looking to be offroading every weekend. I think the H3 is an equally capable offroad vehicle it's just not as aesthetically pleasing as the LR4 (in my opinion). An advantage to the H3 is that it can be modified a lot easier and there are more options in modifications. It's whatever suites your needs best.
Thanks, I am leaning toward the LR4 cause it seems best suited for all terrain. Plus it is a brand new product, whereas the H2 is still on the same chassis since it's introduction. although it did get refreshed in 2008. But the H3 would also be a great choice too. But I still like Hummer. I'm still stuck in the middle on each brand. But Land Rover might come out on top. We'll have to wait and see. Well thanks again for the advise. It was helpful.

Parents have a disco 2 facelift 4.6 V8.

The Disco 2 with facelift got center diff. lock and traction control.. the older Disco 2 modell got only the traction control...
