Hi, like this game, have it still for my old old PS1, now my Question know you (or someone ele here) a simular Game for the PS3 or XBox?? also with Multiplayer. _game this a wile ago with a buddy on my HD TV and the resolution looks horrible._

So Please post or PM me if someone knew a game simular to this for the newer consoles (or at least also for PC if necessairy).

@wcwickedclown We acquired the Forsaken source code a while ago and made many improvements and additions, including improved networking. It runs smoothly on XP/Vista/7 as well as Linux (natively) and Mac (via Wine), supporting modern res (e.g., 1920x1080). The game is still actively played by a core group who meet on irc.freenode.net in #forsaken. Download the latest version at fly.thruhere.net where you will also find a web interface to the irc chat. Older players still play (e.g., Hansieman).

I wish this would get ported onto a newer system. This game is so underrated. If the Wii Homebrew N64 emulator wasn't so crappy I'd find a rom and play it there. I can't find the actual n64 version in any of the stores in the area. I do still have the cd but my mom has to check her email every 5 minutes for some reason. My Ubuntu computer is down at the moment, but I've tried to install through Wine and it wouldn't go before. I'm not really all that savvy with Wine, though.

Hi!. I had played Forsaken a several times online.

But it is a problem. I don't know how to force 2300 at my host port and my local port.

So i can't create a game that other peopel are able to join.

What should I write in those two areas. Host port and local port.

And how do I found the numers.

is this game still played online?

it came very early in the internet revolution 1998/1999 and most people in the UK just did not have a fast enough connection to play it. I would have loved to have played in online and still have the CD. with a 56k modem in 1998 that was never gonna happen. is forsaken windows XP compatable?

This Game Still Rocks, It is so fast paced that it makes some people sick when flying at first until they adjust. I have see other players in front of the screen twisting and dodging as they try to actually avoid being shot. The Forsaken Community has created an updated open source version and they are playing it daily online. Learn more at forsaken planet tk

I must get into this again, it was one of the coolest game designs ever. The balance of weapons for multiplayer was superb, and even the music was super-cool. Can't believe this game isn't still around.

The tracks got remix/arranged when they were ported to N64. As alot of tracks do when they get ported to another system/board. I have both soundtracks so I know they're different.

Thanks a lot man, My brother used to have the soundtrack but it stopped working a while ago and I haven't found the real tracks in so long cuz of the crappy 64 version

I would say most of them got "recreated". 64 had the tracks "Pure Bitch Power" and "Flameout", as well as "Condemned" fully intact (minus some obvious prerecorded mixed soundeffects). However the rest do sound too different to be remixes, or they might just be rearranged versions.

This is ace. I used to play this on the 64 also. Recently bought it for 100yen in Japan for PC. Also the forsakenplanet site is tops... thanks for the effort
