  • He's the only person I've ever heard to flams with his double kick.

  • is anybody that skilled?

  • well thats just...wow :D insane

  • i get discouraged watching this, but then i remember that this is guy is a career musician who worked himself to the bone to get to where he is...and instead im inspired

  • GREAT!

  • damn that's a way to use cymbals ^^

  • I like lang alot, not only is his form in both hands and feet next to flawless and quick as shit like any metal drummer, he actually grooves like a young tito puente or steve gadd, its almost orgasmic, i love it

  • great!

    guter Jop Tom... yeah

  • it's disappointing to see that people can't tell talent when there watching it

  • Chambers started at the age of 4 and was in clubswith pros at the age of 6....

  • lol i have just been looking over some of your comments, and im wondering, how many of you actually play the drums? as from what i have seen, you all know jackshit. bar TheSetite, Lang is one of the greats. yes moon was a genius, as was bonham. but they werent a dying breed. Lang, Chambers, Bozzio etc... this man has superb technique. and to be honest, sometimes its not the amount you practise. you either have it or you dont.

  • Nice to hear at last thats people are waking up to these corporate drummers who ahve all the best gear & r aided with computers just to sell stuff for the music instrument makers. This guy bores me rigid give me keith moon anyday.

  • lol, judging by your shit band on your videos, I can't say you have much of an intelligent opinion about good drumming, kid.

  • if youre talking about naleyan, yea they suck. its like a really bad dave matthews band or something like that

  • lol! yea i was

  • I sounds like a bad programmed drumcomputer. It is a pain to the ears.

  • rofl, i can say that the part when he changes from the hihats to the toms gave me a really freakin' "wow" feeling :D

  • chops still take a lot of technique and skill to pull off. and practice.

  • fucking shit is for fucking losers

  • from age 14 bis 25 he have play 4 houes per day. Add the time with Band not include.

    Quelle: Dram-Heads!!

  • I think to become a as good drummer as thomas you need to train very effective not very mutch, I think about 5 hours a day would be enough. About the style: I think if thomas would want to play more musically or another styles he would, he just plays HIS one style.

  • yeh, hes amazing but i dont find it musically interesting what so ever, lots of drummers with a better style, if only he had the style then he would be mad good

  • ok well...I didnt hear anything that gave me the "WOW" Like yall are throwing out..actually it DOES sound like a bunch of exercises, id like to hear him actually play then MAYBE ill change my mind

  • there are people who trained all their life and are still at the same point !

i agree practise make you complete, but thomas is a great drummer cause first of all is a splendid person.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

i love watching thomas playing the drums. he's a great drummer!

    awesome solo ;)

  • great video, why are those fools just walking by..? fucking tossers.

  • Superb. Wow... wow. I do think a legitimate criticism of his solos is that they just sound like a bunch of excercises strung together - not quite so musical. But that's about the only legitimate criticism!

  • You're just not listening. It's very musical.

  • Oh my God....Soo talented... Thomas Lang is absolutely amazing!

  • drummers are not born drummers are made, he played with an average of 8 hours a day for ~10(!!) years. That's respect but not talent

  • i know this comment was made ages ago. but talent is what ever you make it! even if he has learnt to play the drums for 10 years..

  • Oh I know, and while I can't practice 8 hours a day what with school and work and all, I do go at it for a good 2 or 3. The only problem I have with Thomas is he's got damn near no feel whatsoever. He's all about chops.

  • Thats why he is hired by the top names in rock and pop. Cos he has no feel? People like you make me sad. Give me the universal definition of feel, then ill take you seriously. Too many people use feel as an excuse to have no technique. Again, Lang is one of the highest paid sessioneers in the WORLD!!

  • No Feel?? Search Thomas Lang Jump Seat. Feel that.
