I guess in the end, Kagura had to die. When Sesshomaru had finally had to deal with the sadness and anger of losing someone, Tengeiga was ready to be forged into a real weapon. I love Kagura though, she was my favourite character. I like to think that she didn't actually die, and just reverted into her natural state to regain her strength. She was the free wind after all, hmm? If Inuyasha was continued after the FA some how, I think Kagura would come back. Sessh/Kagu forever. True love. (:

I tend to think of SessRin as a kind of guardian-ward relationship, not father-daughter or older brother-sister. I mean, I don't think of them as family-related. Rin might grow up to love Sess, but I prefer it to be this way - guardian-ward and non-romantic.

Damn I hated Naraku before but this seriously deepened it. At least in the end however short lived it was just as sweet, to see him again. The freedom she longed for she can now carry out carelessly. She didnt die alone and she saw her love, at least she died knowing that. Thats precious. So Sesshomaru did harbor feelings for her after all.... Well now Kagura can watch over him always smiling sufficing as the air he breathes... That alone is enough I believe.

I remember the anime filler episode "Together, forever with Sesshomaru-Sama" had Rin becoming sad when she heard Jaken said in 100 years she will be dead and won't be able to be with her beloved Sesshomaru forever, so she requested him in the end to never forget her.

This will go the same with Kagome. There, your day is now a bit sadder.
